-------------------------------------------------
The massive white saber-tooth tiger sat like a thundercloud in the clearing, electricity crackling faintly along its fur as it stared at the three humans.
Its stomach growled loudly.
-Grrr!
Ra-One let out a quiet sigh.
-Sigh!
"Well… I suppose that solves the problem."
He reached into his system inventory, a storage space only he could access.
With a small flash of red cubes forming and dissolving in his palm, several items appeared in his hands.
Roasted chickens.
Freshly cooked meat wrapped in leaves.
Emergency ration packs he had stored long ago for survival situations.
Layla blinked looking at the foods which get materialized before the White Tiger from thin air.
"…you carry food like that?"
Ra-One replied calmly,
"Emergency supplies."
Momo looked between him and the enormous predator nervously.
"You're really going to feed it?"
Ra-One simply walked forward and placed the roasted chickens on a large flat rock.
The tiger's eyes widened.
"...."
Its pupils shrank like a housecat seeing tuna for the first time.
Electric sparks danced across its whiskers.
Then—WHOOSH!
The tiger lunged forward.
Not attacking.
Eating.
It devoured the roasted chickens in seconds, crunching bones like snacks.
Its eyes twinkled with visible delight as it tore through the meat.
-CRUNCH! -CRACK!
Its tail swished happily behind it.
Layla crossed her arms, amused.
"…I think you made a friend."
Momo watched in astonishment.
"…it's acting like a giant cat."
The tiger licked its massive paw and cleaned its whiskers.
Through his Nature's Son affinity, Ra-One could hear what it says again.
Simple. Happy.
"Good food. Better than hunter food."
Ra-One raised an eyebrow.
"…hunter food?"
The tiger happily devoured another roasted chicken and continued its thoughts.
"Humans before bring food. Try trap tiger. Tiger eat food. Break trap. Bully humans. Leave."
Which left Rudra speechless of how shameless this tiger is.
Layla burst out laughing as she heard Rudra's explanation.
-Hahaha!!!
"You're telling me this thing scams poachers for free meals?"
The tiger paused mid-bite and looked at her. It tilted its head proudly.
"Yes."
Momo covered her mouth, trying not to laugh even through she couldnt understand what the Tiger just said with the nod of its head Momo understood the meaning.
-Pfft!
"…that's actually genius."
The tiger finished the last piece of chicken and licked its teeth, clearly satisfied.
Then it looked back at Ra-One with sparkling eyes.
"Forest child. More?"
Ra-One stared silently for a moment.
"...."
"...."
"...."
Layla smirked seeing Rudra's reaction looking at the Tiger.
-Smirk!
"You are feeding a monster."
Momo added carefully, "Technically we're bribing wildlife now."
Ra-One sighed and reached into the system inventory again.
-Sigh!
"...."
Another roasted chicken appeared.
The tiger's entire body lit up with tiny arcs of electricity in excitement.
"Best humans. Better than hunters."
It grabbed the new chicken gently—remarkably careful for a creature that could crush trees—and began happily eating again.
Layla leaned toward Ra-One.
"So… what now?"
Ra-One glanced at the enormous lightning tiger enjoying lunch.
"…apparently we feed the apex predator."
The tiger's tail wagged like a pleased thunderstorm.
The clearing slowly returned to silence.
"...."
"...."
"...."
Only the rustling leaves and distant bird calls remained after the chaos earlier in the forest.
The massive white tiger finished the last roasted chicken with a satisfied crunch.
It licked its whiskers carefully, sparks of pale blue electricity dancing along its fur like tiny lightning bugs.
For a moment, it simply sat there.
Content.
Its large tail swished lazily behind it.
Then the tiger slowly stood.
It walked toward Rudra, its enormous paws pressing softly into the moss-covered ground.
Layla instinctively tensed,
While Momo Yaoyorozu watched nervously, ready to react if needed.
But the tiger did nothing aggressive.
Instead, it leaned forward and sniffed Rudra carefully.
Once. Twice. All around him.
Through his Nature's Son affinity, Rudra could hear the creature's simple thoughts again.
"Forest child smells strange… But good. Good human."
The tiger huffed softly.
Then it nudged his shoulder lightly with its nose before stepping back.
Layla raised an eyebrow.
"…did that thing just approve of you?"
Momo whispered in disbelief.
"…I think it did."
The tiger turned its head toward the deeper forest. Then it spoke again in its rumbling mental voice.
"Food good. Tiger come tomorrow. Bring more."
Rudra stood there silently for a second.
"...."
The tiger flicked its tail.
Lightning crackled along its back.
Then with a powerful leap, it bounded into the trees.
Branches shook.
Leaves scattered.
Within seconds, the enormous creature vanished into the depths of Beast Forest.
The clearing became quiet again.
"...."
"...."
"...."
Layla let out a breath she didn't realize she had been holding.
"…well. That happened."
Momo lowered her equipment slowly.
"I never imagined wildlife diplomacy would be part of hero work."
Rudra dusted his hands calmly.
"…neither did I."
He activated the communicator.
"Headquarters, situation resolved."
Ravi's voice crackled through the device.
"Resolved how?"
Rudra paused for a moment.
"…we fed it."
There was silence.
"...."
"...."
"...."
Then Ravi burst out laughing through the comms after hearing his full expination.
"You WHAT?!"
Even Sandeep's amused voice could be heard in the background.
"Rudra made friends with a thunder tiger."
Layla smirked looking at Rudra.
-Smirk!
"Apparently we now have a daily lunch appointment with it."
Momo sighed, though a small smile appeared on her face.
-Sigh
"...."
The sun had begun dipping behind the mountains. Golden light filtered through the forest canopy. The first day of the S.H.I.E.L.D internship had come to an end.
Hosu City...
Night settled over the neon-lit streets of Hosu City like a dark curtain.
Rainwater from an earlier drizzle reflected the glow of billboards and streetlights.
The city was quieter now, most civilians already inside their homes.
Only the distant hum of traffic and the occasional police siren echoed through the alleys.
On the roof of a mid-rise building stood a lone figure.
A man wrapped in ragged cloth and stained armor.
A long red scarf hung around his neck, fluttering slowly in the night wind.
This was Stain. The so-called Hero Killer.
Below him in a dark alley lay a man in a torn hero costume.
A low-ranked pro hero.
The emblem on his chest was cracked, and his body lay motionless on the pavement.
A thin trail of blood ran across the concrete.
Stain wiped the edge of his blade against a cloth slowly and methodically. His crimson eyes looked down at the fallen hero with cold judgment.
"Another false hero."
His voice was quiet. But full of disgust.
"People who wear the title… yet chase fame."
He sheathed the blade.
The rainwater dripped from the edge of the rooftop as he looked across the city skyline.
"So many. So many parasites hiding behind the word 'hero'."
Below, distant police sirens began approaching the alley.
Stain crouched slightly, preparing to move.
But before leaving, he spoke again—almost like a vow to the night.
"True heroes… are rare. In this rotten society…"
Only two names crossed his mind.
One he had witnessed through news reports.
The other through stories of battles.
The first—All Might.
The Symbol of Peace.
The second—A mysterious red-armored hero who had recently appeared across the hero world.
A man who fought villains without hesitation.
A man who saved children from a villain doctor. A man who built a recovery center for broken quirk victims.
Stain's eyes narrowed slightly.
"Ra-One…"
A faint smile formed under the cloth covering his face.
"…perhaps. You are worthy."
Police lights flashed at the end of the street.
Without another word—Stain stepped off the rooftop.
Vanishing into the shadows of Hosu City.
Behind him, another unworthy hero had fallen.
Night patrol in Hosu City was usually quiet.
Streetlights reflected on wet pavement as patrol cars moved slowly through the district.
Walking along the sidewalk was Tenya Iida, currently on his internship.
Beside him moved his supervising hero.
Manual.
Manual carried a calm expression while scanning the surroundings like a veteran officer.
They had only just turned onto the next street when the radio on Manual's belt suddenly crackled.
"All nearby patrol units respond immediately… Possible Hero Killer Stain incident reported two blocks east."
The words froze the air.
"...."
"...."
"...."
Manual stopped walking instantly.
"…again?"
The radio continued.
"Pro hero down. Police requesting immediate assistance."
Manual turned sharply.
"Let's move!"
Both of them sprinted toward the location.
Behind his helmet visor, Iida's eyes widened.
'Hero Killer…'
The name hit him like a hammer.
The man who had brutally injured his brother.
Tensei Iida.
The man who had left him paralyzed.
Iida's fists clenched tightly.
The metal engines in his calves hummed softly.
For a split second—His mind filled with rage.
But he didn't move recklessly. He forced himself to breathe.
Professional. Focused. Controlled.
When Manual glanced back at him, Iida's expression looked calm.
But behind the mask—His eyes had turned cold.
At the Crime Scene...
The alley was already surrounded by police tape.
Patrol officers and detectives moved around the scene carefully.
Flashing red lights reflected across the wet ground.
The fallen hero lay under a white sheet. Manual stepped forward and greeted the officers.
"Manual, responding patrol."
One detective nodded gratefully.
-Nod
"Glad you're here."
He pointed toward the alley.
"Same pattern. Blade wounds. Targeted attack."
Manual's expression hardened.
"…Stain."
The detective nodded grimly.
-Nod
"We believe he escaped through the rooftops."
Police drones were already scanning the nearby buildings.
Manual sighed quietly.
-Sigh
"That man moves like a ghost."
Iida stood silently beside his mentor. His eyes slowly scanned the scene.
The blood pattern. The wound marks. The direction of escape.
His engines quietly vibrated under the armor.
Inside his mind, only one thought repeated.
'Hero Killer Stain.'
But he forced himself to remain still. He had come here as an intern hero.
Not as a man chasing revenge.
Manual placed a hand on his shoulder.
"You okay?"
Iida adjusted his glasses calmly.
"Yes."
His voice sounded steady. But the tension in his clenched fists betrayed him.
"I am simply… observing."
Manual studied him for a moment but didn't press further.
The sirens continued flashing across the dark street.
Somewhere in the shadows of Hosu City—The Hero Killer had already vanished again.
Meanwhile...
High above the streets of Hosu City, the night wind swept across the rooftop of a tall office building.
Below, traffic lights blinked red and green while police sirens still echoed faintly through the distant streets.
Standing on the edge of the building was Stain.
His red scarf fluttered slowly behind him as he watched the city.
The chaos. The flashing police lights.
The same society he despised.
Footsteps approached from behind.
-Thud. -Thud.
-Thud. -Thud...
Slow. Measured.
An old man stepped out of the shadows. Gray hair.
A cane tapping lightly against the rooftop floor.
-Tap!
He adjusted his glasses as he looked toward Stain with interest.
This man was one of the agents serving All For One.
The old man spoke politely.
"Hero Killer Stain."
Stain didn't turn. He simply stared down at the city.
The old man smiled faintly.
"You are… quite difficult to track."
Stain's voice came out cold.
"…Say what you came here to say."
The old man chuckled softly.
"Straight to the point."
He stepped closer, stopping a few meters behind Stain.
"My master has been watching your actions with great interest."
He leaned on his cane.
"The world calls you a villain. But we see… a revolutionary."
Stain finally turned his head slightly.
"...."
His sharp eyes met the old man's calmly.
The old man continued.
"There exists an alliance. A growing force of villains. Individuals who wish to reshape this broken society."
His tone became inviting.
"You would be welcomed among them. Join us. Serve under the banner of All For One."
For a moment the rooftop was silent.
"...."
"...."
"...."
Wind rustled Stain's scarf. Then Stain turned fully toward him.
His expression was completely indifferent.
"…Villains."
He spoke the word with disgust.
"You misunderstand me."
The old man tilted his head curiously.
Stain continued his explanation.
"I do not seek chaos. I do not seek power."
His voice sharpened.
"I purge. False heroes. Parasites hiding behind the title."
The old man remained calm.
"That sounds very similar to our goals."
Stain stepped forward slightly. His eyes burned with conviction.
"No. You create monsters. I remove filth."
The old man watched him quietly.
"Then you refuse?"
Stain didn't answer. Instead he simply walked past the man.
"...."
When he reached the edge of the building, he stopped for a moment.
Without turning back he spoke one final sentence.
"I walk alone."
Then—He stepped off the rooftop.
Disappearing into the darkness between the buildings.
The old man remained standing there, tapping his cane lightly.
"…how unfortunate."
But his expression held no disappointment.
Only calculation. He slowly pulled out a small communicator.
"Report."
His voice was calm.
"Hero Killer Stain refuses recruitment."
A distorted voice replied from the device.
"…expected."
The old man looked out across the city lights.
"…however. He will still be useful."
The wind blew stronger across the rooftop.
