Two days passed...
Nagano Forest...
Sunday arrived—a rare, quiet holiday.
Rudra had already sent word through Amirtha and Junoo, asking them to relay his message to their friends and Guru Arvind:
'If you're willing… I can take you to another world. This one—Which he was currently in.'
Now, he stood deep within the Nagano Forest, near the edge of the clearing where his hero agency was nearing completion.
Steel frames gleamed between the trees, construction lights humming softly as the final work continued.
Nearby, Gwen and Layla oversaw the site, tablet in hand, exchanging notes with engineers.
Rudra approached them as he spoke calmly, gesturing towards the direction of the rented house where Gwen and Layla were currently staying at.
"I need you both to stay on guard, No interruptions. What I'm about to do… stays unseen."
Gwen raised an eyebrow.
"...."
"...."
Layla crossed her arms as she asked with a surprised look on her face.
"You're finally telling us one of your secrets, aren't you?"
Both women exchanged a look.
They weren't just colleagues—they were former students of Rudra, back when he taught at Sky High.
They knew that tone.
When he used it, something big followed.
Rudra stepped into the room alone and closed the door behind him.
Silence.
"...."
"...."
"...."
Then—He raised his hand.
"Exodus Gate."
The air split open.
-Creaaakk!!!
A dimensional tear formed in front of him, space folding inward like torn fabric.
Light and shadow twisted together, forming a gate that didn't belong to this world.
Without hesitation, Rudra stepped forward into it. Then he vanished.
The tear sealed itself instantly, leaving the room empty—as if nothing had ever happened.
BRAHMASTRA WORLD...
The Highland Leaf – Restaurant & Inn...
The dimensional tear rippled open in the middle of the reception area of The Highland Leaf – Restaurant & Inn.
Space warped. Light bent.
And then—Rudra stepped out.
For a heartbeat, no one present there moved.
Amirtha. Junoo. Shiva and Meena. Sandeep, Ravi, Mani.
And standing slightly apart, calm and unreadable as ever—Guru Arvind.
Several pairs of eyes widened at once.
"...."
"...."
"...."
"…See he's real,"
Junoo breatheda a sigh of relief seeing he had kept his words.
-Sigh
The room exploded.
"RUDRA—?!"
Chairs scraped back. Someone laughed. Someone else gasped.
Amirtha covered her mouth for half a second—then ran forward and hugged him hard, Junoo right behind her.
Even through both of them met him before a week.
Seeing him come back as he said both of them hugged.
"You idiot,"
Amirtha said, half-laughing, half-crying.
"You really came back. I really started doubting myself and Junoo for hallucinating that day."
Rudra hugged them both, eyes soft.
"I told you I would."
It had been two years for others while for Amirtha and Junoo it was a week.
Two long, quiet years of wondering whether he was alive… or gone for good.
Amirtha and Junoo had reached out to everyone, passing along Rudra's message—about his return, about another world.
Strangely enough, no one had laughed it off except Sandeep and Ravi who thought Amirtha and Junoo were gone mad.
With Rudra, the impossible had always been… possible.
Today, the restaurant was closed.
A deliberate holiday.
Because if Rudra was coming back—Nothing else mattered.
Sandeep was the first to break the tension.
"…Wow, At least send a postcard next time you vanish across realities."
He said, squinting.
While Ravi snorted folding his arms.
"Yeah, man. 'Gone to another world, back in two years.' Real casual."
Shiva cracked his knuckles, a familiar smirk spreading across his face. As he spoke.
-Crack -Crack
-Smirk
"Oh, don't worry, We're about to talk about it."
Rudra barely had time to sigh.
-Sigh
"Wait—"
Too late. Sandeep and Ravi lunged first, Shiva right behind them.
"YOU JUST VANISHED—!"
"—NO CALL—!"
"—NO MESSAGE—!"
Punches landed—not hard, but relentless.
Thumps to the shoulder.
A smack to the back of the head.
Ravi even tried to put him in a headlock.
"You think you can just disappear like that?!"
"Two years, man!"
"TWO!"
Rudra laughed. Actually laughed seeing his friends reaction to his arrival.
Yeah they didn't change a bit.
-Haha!
"...."
He didn't block. Didn't dodge. Just stood there, taking it, smiling like he hadn't in a long time.
"Missed you guys too,"
He said between hits.
Mani shook his head, grinning seeing his brother who was laughing and punching his owner.
Meena laughed softly, relief written all over her face looking at her husband who was acting like a child.
Guru Arvind watched quietly, hands behind his back.
After a moment...
He spoke—voice calm, carrying weight.
"That's enough."
The three froze instantly.
"...."
"...."
"...."
They stepped back, breathing hard, grins still plastered on their faces.
Shiva wiped his knuckles.
"Worth it."
Rudra straightened, rolling his shoulders, still smiling replies while letting out a chuckle.
"…Yeah, It was."
For the first time in years, the reception area felt whole again.
This wasn't powers and enemy.
It was about coming home.
And this—This was the boys' reunion.
Meeting Room...
They gathered in the meeting room, the long wooden table bearing the memories of use—strategy meetings, quiet meals, late-night planning sessions.
Rudra paused for a moment before sitting down, his eyes drifting to the walls, the windows, the familiar scent of wood and mountain air.
This place… The hotel. A gift.
Given to him by Guru Arvind after he had passed the trial to earn the Brahmastra fragment that Arvind still safeguarded.
Back then, Rudra had been graduated from the Gurukul—sharper around the edges, burning with ambition.
Now, he felt the weight of years lived across worlds.
Once everyone settled, Rudra spoke.
He explained.
About the world he was currently in—a society where heroes existed as a profession, where most of the population wielded powers, where those powers were called Quirks.
He didn't hide the truth. As he spoke calmly
"That world, is something I watched as an anime in my previous life."
The room went still. Then Rudra added in his mind.
'About the world being one from the anime I watched in my previous life, This is… a taboo secret, Like most reincarnations...'
No one laughed. No one doubted him.
They had seen dimensional tears open in front of their eyes.
"I'm currently a professor there,"
Rudra continued his explanation.
"At a hero school. I also have two years of prior teaching experience in another hero academy in America—Sky High."
Ravi's jaw dropped.
"...."
"...."
Sandeep nearly fell off his chair.
"WAIT—WAIT—"
Ravi pointed at him.
"You're telling me you're a teacher in a world full of superheroes?"
"And a professor,"
Sandeep added, grinning showing all his teeth.
-Grin
"Man really upgraded from snotty-brat to final-boss mentor."
Guru Arvind, however, was quiet. Thoughtful.
"...."
"A society where power is common,"
Arvind finally said, fingers steepled.
"And yet order is maintained… Interesting."
His eyes sharpened.
"Tell me, Rudra—what prevents chaos when everyone holds strength?"
Rudra met his gaze with a smile.
"Structure. Responsibility. And consequences. Not perfectly—but enough to hold civilization together."
Arvind nodded slowly, clearly intrigued.
-Nod
Meanwhile—
Ravi and Sandeep had already vanished.
A few seconds later, the sound of doors slamming echoed down the hallway.
"We'RE PACKING—!"
"DON'T START WITHOUT US—!"
Junoo lifted her chin proudly, arms crossed, a smug smile playing on her lips.
'Already packed,'
She thought in her mind.
Amirtha beside her hid a quiet smile—she was ready too.
"...."
Meena glanced at Shiva, then at Rudra, then back at Shiva.
"I want to go,"
She said simply. Hearing her Shiva sighed looking at Amirtha.
-Sigh
"...."
He had seen it. Long before today.
After Rudra vanished, Shiva had slowly realized something uncomfortable and undeniable—His mother had a crush on his best friend.
A man who had practically grown up alongside him.
Shiva rubbed his face, then straightened.
'…Fine.'
As a good son, he would support her.
Even if that meant doing the terrifying task of nudging his best friend toward his mother's happiness.
He shook his head internally.
-Shook -Shook
"...."
'This is going to be awkward.'
Meena caught the look on his face and smirked wider.
-Smirk
"...."
Mani, however, stayed silent.
"...."
He sat a little apart, hands folded, eyes thoughtful.
"I…" he began, then stopped.
Everyone looked at him.
"I don't know if I belong,"
Mani admitted honestly.
"I'm just… normal. I don't have an Astra like my brother And like you all."
Rudra looked at him for a long moment.
"...."
Then he smiled—not the confident hero's smile, but the quiet one. Then he spoke.
"Mani, that world isn't just for the powerful. It's for people."
The room grew quiet again.
"...."
"...."
"...."
Then Rudra broke the silence.
"There's something else,"
He said, his voice steady.
"My Brahmastra is about to give birth to a new Astra."
Every head snapped toward him.
Rudra turned to Mani.
"When it manifests… you can have it."
Mani froze for second couldn't believe what he had just heard.
"...."
"…Me?"
Rudra nodded while he added.
-Nod
"Yes. But understand this clearly—power is not a reward. It's a responsibility. If you give in to it, it will consume you. If you master it, it will protect others."
Mani's breath caught.
All his life, he had stood in Ravi's shadow after he moved with his brother after both of them met.
The normal twin. The worker. The one without anything special.
And yet—Here was Rudra, placing faith in him.
Not Ravi. Not Shiva. Him.
"I won't betray you,"
Mani said quietly, but with absolute conviction.
"Not now. Not ever."
Rudra met his eyes and nodded once.
-Nod
"That's all I needed to hear."
Guru Arvind watched the exchange with calm approval. Then he said
"You choose your peoples wisely, Even if fate arrives unexpectedly."
He then shook his head lightly.
"I would have liked to see this new world myself… but my duties here remain. The Gurukul cannot run itself."
He smiled faintly. Then he added.
"In the future, I will come."
Amirtha finished her call and returned to the group. She informed.
"It's taken care of, One of my most trusted people will manage everything here while we're gone."
Excitement buzzed through the room.
Ravi and Sandeep were practically vibrating.
Junoo stood confidently, already mentally halfway gone.
Meena stayed close to Shiva, eyes bright with anticipation.
Mani stood straighter than ever before with building excitement.
Rudra stepped forward and raised his hand.
"Exodus Gate."
The air tore open.
-Creaakkk!
A dimensional gate formed—light folding inward, space rippling like water disturbed by stone.
Rudra stepped through first.
Without hesitation, the others followed.
At the doorway of worlds, Guru Arvind stood alone, hands clasped behind his back. Then he added calmly.
"Walk your paths well, And return stronger."
One by one, they vanished into the light.
The gate sealed shut.
"...."
"...."
"...."
Silence returned to the meeting hall.
My Hero Academia...
The dimensional tear rippled open once more—inside the very room Rudra had left earlier.
Light folded inward. Space twisted.
-Creak!
And then—
Rudra stepped out, followed by Amirtha, Junoo, Shiva, Meena, Ravi, Sandeep, Mani, the air around them still humming with the aftereffect of crossing worlds.
They looked around instinctively.
Different room. Different walls. Different world.
Before anyone could speak, Rudra turned toward the door and called calmly.
"Layla. Gwen, You can come in now."
Outside, the two women exchanged a look.
"...."
"...."
"Did he finally bring souvenirs?"
Gwen muttered already excited what type of surprise Rudra was waiting to give them with one of his secret.
While Layla replied rolling her eyes.
"Knowing him? Probably something dramatic."
They opened the door.
-Creak!
"...."
"...."
And froze. The room that had been empty minutes ago now held several unfamiliar people—men and women dressed nothing like locals, carrying the quiet weight of people who had lived through things far beyond normal life.
Gwen blinked looking at the unknown faces before her.
"…Okay. That's new."
Layla's hand instinctively moved toward her sidearm.
"Rudra?"
Rudra stepped forward and raised a hand. Then he spoke breaking the silence.
"Relax, They're friends."
'Friends?'
Layla and Gwen stared at the group—then back at him. Then Gwen asked her question confusedly.
"…You literally walked into an empty room, We checked."
Rudra exhaled with a sigh and began his explanation.
"I didn't lie to you before, I just didn't tell you everything."
He looked them straight in the eyes. Answered calmly.
"I'm not from this world, And I have the ability to travel between worlds."
Silence. Pure, absolute silence.
"...."
"...."
"...."
Layla's mouth opened—then closed.
Gwen stared at him for a full three seconds.
"…You could've mentioned that,"
Gwen said flatly trying to act normal like what she heard was not a big news at all.
Layla crossed her arms and pouted trying to play her normal self.
-Pout
"So that's it? Multiverse travel? Other worlds? And we get told now?"
Rudra didn't even try to defend himself. He added quietly.
"You know why I couldn't,"
Both women went still.
"...."
"...."
They understood immediately.
A power like that—if even a rumor escaped—governments, corporations, villains, investors—Billions would be spent to control him, dissect him, or cage him.
Layla clicked her tongue.
-Tch
"Fine. I get it."
Gwen sighed while she was internally screaming in her mind that she was going to loose her mind.
"…Still rude."
Behind Rudra—Junoo and Amirtha exchanged a glance.
Then another. Then smiled.
"...."
"...."
The kind of smile only women with sharp instincts shared.
'Oh. So that's what this is.'
They stepped forward gracefully.
Junoo spoke first, confident and warm.
"I'm Junoo."
Amirtha followed, her smile calm but assessing.
"Amirtha. It's nice to finally meet you."
Layla straightened instantly.
Gwen tilted her head. Something shifted in the air.
"...."
"...."
Not hostility. Competition.
Four pairs of eyes met—Junoo ↔ Layla, Amirtha ↔ Gwen
For a single heartbeat—It felt like electric sparks clashed, invisible pressure snapping between them.
-Spark! -Spark!
-Spark! -Spark!
Shiva coughed feeling the atmosphere getting tense.
Ravi whispered to Sandeep,
"Do you feel that?"
Sandeep nodded letting out a sigh.
"Yeah. Survival instinct. even here he was showcasing his skills."
Mani quietly took a step back.
Rudra, utterly oblivious, rubbed his temple.
"...."
"…Why does it feel like the temperature just dropped?"
The women smiled. Sweetly. Dangerously.
Layla extended a hand.
"So—you're his friends."
Junoo took it, grip firm with a same smile.
"Yes. Very close ones."
Gwen laughed lightly.
-Fufu
"Looks like this world just got crowded."
Amirtha's eyes gleamed.
-Gleam
"We don't mind sharing space."
The air crackled again.
-Spark -Spark
-Spark -Spark
"...."
"...."
"...."
Rudra had battled many, defied fate, and rewritten destinies—But somehow, this moment felt far more dangerous.
And somewhere in the back of his mind, a single thought formed.
'…I should've seen this coming.'
