Chapter 337 - chapter 134

"We will leave and inform our people that we did what was needed, that should keep our plan safe from the Collective." Beorn said, taking on the leader role between the three of them.

Hou nodded, "Will you all be leaving, how long?"

Lydia answered, "We will all have to leave, if the Collective notices we have separated they will investigate us and find out abberancy."

Wadall added, "We will try to get jobs which stay in this collection of Worlds, if others come here then they will detect that we did not destroy Araxis' World as instructed. If Sir Xavier helps we might be able to bring more leaders into this Collective."

Araxis listened on intently and once they quietened he tapped his staff on the floor. Then he coughed and spoke, "If I am to understand this union correctly, we all want to fight the Devourer of Worlds?"

The roundtable nodded in agreement, he continued, "Then you have the basic plan me and Xavier have proposed? To use a unified Qualia to fight outside of Worlds in the Sea."

"Most of us have, I was going to explain that anyway, do you have something to say about it?"

"I do." Araxis took a cup of tea and poured it manually, he would normally use magic but he was not in his world and it would not work the same.

He had the option for Causality but he was not like the Hou and the figures (and by extension Zhou Tian). He only had superficial control of Causality, he was not the owner of his World.

"My world is in danger, I assume this roundtable was made for collaboration and help. I will need your help."

"And that danger extends to the False World too..." Zhou Tian thought about his world where he was born. He was going to destroy it not long ago and now he worked on saving it, ironic he thought.

Araxis nodded, "I've siphoned much Causality from my World. Unlike you all, I don't have control over my World simply, I merely usurped control from Nature...my world has no god."

Hou flinched, "Is it my fault?"

Araxis shook his head, "Not entirely, don't worry. My point is that there are now cracks in my world which open up to the Sea of Worlds and bring in invaders. We should kill 2 birds with one stone and experiment how to affect these rifts."

"The Devourer sits outside in the Sea of Worlds like those rifts, so we can save your world from danger while figuring out how to save every world from danger." Zhou Tian leant forward, "Any clues?" He gestured around the roundtable.

"..."

"..."

The roundtable was quiet, Hou broke the silence, "We'll figure it out. Before that, we should stabilise all our situations so we have the ability to expend resources in experimentation."

Xavier watched the roundtable with excitement. He had no control over Causality and his only ability was to travel between worlds, this is his power; to bring people together to communicate.

Araxis nodded, "I agree, I will focus on my True World, Hou and this world, Beorn and co on protecting us from the Collective, Zhou Tian can help in the False World, and Xavier can go to the other world looking for gods and representatives."

Hou nodded, "Is everyone in agreement? Do we understand what we need to do?"

The roundtable nodded in agreement. The figures moved to a different room, they could travel outside the Sea of Worlds like Xavier but they needed time and approval. Hou sent his Causality to them, allowing for exit; they would be gone soon.

Xavier held Araxis' and Zhou Tian's hands as he moved them out of Hou's world and into the True and False World respectively.

"And now I'm alone again..." Hou leant back in his chair with a large sigh.

Behind him though, the floor rippled and a voice moved through, "Use this to call for me!" A d a small glass orb shot out.

Hou caught it, "Thanks Xavier."

'Now what?' he thought deeply, 'I know...'

Hou tapped the glass ball and Xavier shout through the floor up I to Hou's World, "what is it?"

"Can you detect people with my Causality?"

He shook his head, "No can do, other than my ability I'm a completely normal mortal man...well and my lack of aging."

"Interesting....can you ask Araxis then, to bring back William. Tell Mo Huai that he should follow Zhou Tian...actually no," Hou thought for a moment what he would need to do, "Bring Mo Huai too."

Once Xavier left and Hou was left alone he stood up, "Hamar..." He winced, he'll do his funeral as soon as William and Mo Huai were back.

Mo Huai woke up, and walked around the camp, "This is most unusual..."

William hopped down from a nearby tree, "Agreed, it's like they were sucked of all their power. And yet they still believe they need to destroy the world, for the greater good."

"At least they can't and won't do anything, how's the casualties?" Mo Huai opened the tent door.

William followed after, "Not too bad, everyone except the elites were teleported away and then the two armies separated so not much fighting occurred."

"Without the leaders they fall apart, thanks for the report William." Mo Huai arrived to the centre of the tent.

"We won." The Sect Leader returned to the look of a teenager, "Mo Huai, I assume this was your disciple's doing?"

Mo Huai nodded, "I believe so Sir but I have not communicated since the war ended so I am not sure."

"Okay, moving on. This meeting is to decide what to do with the enemies captured. Any ideas?"

Qi Lan made her way through the crowd of leaders to Mo Huai's side. She nudged him, "You really got lucky with your disciples; I had to save both mine when the elite fight started, luckily it didn't seem the plan B was needed."

Mo Huai chuckled, "I did luck out, didn't I...so Jin and Yan are fine?"

"They're good, a bit annoyed at how far behind they are compared to Hou's and Hamar though." Qi Lan chuckled.

"Aren't we all?"
