Linh suddenly dismounted.

He walked back through Sapphire ranks. Men parted instantly.
Then he brought it out.
His bow. Materializing from his aura.
Tall as a man. Thick.
Worthy of being an Intermediate Mordial weapon— it was a siege engine.
His Flryas gathered around him, their own bows smaller but similar in build.
Aura began to gather. Hot. Sharp. Unstable.
Even the air around the string seemed to twitch.
"On my mark," Linh said quietly.
He drew.
The ground under his boots cracked slightly. Aura materialized into an arrow, like air taking form.
Release.
The shot vanished. A heartbeat later. The sunlight side bloomed.
Explosion.
Earth and bodies thrown upward.
Then— Flryas loosed. Almost as violent.
