The Taltiem Point, Located at Sector 11, The Mountain Range of the Holy Capital.
The 2131st Year of the Ancestral Calendar. The Continental Millennium, and The Boon of Trading. The Golden Era of Humanity, where trade flourished, humanity was in riches, the poor became more poor, and the rich and those that worked hard for it became the elites as the people call nobility. The world was now a changed place and nobility was now not decided by blood, but those that can work will work, those that cannot will not be able to raise above society, and those that chose to be lazy will be left to rot on the cold hard ground where they will lay with the rats and roaches.
It was the earlier years of the 5th Generation, where fear was high, and belief was blooming. Other than the gods having a hold of humanity through praise and worship, in all truthfulness it really was just a thin thread holding belief and people together. 100 years into the 5th there was a revival of the economic industry by studies and people that had enough money to move a world all on their own. To the eyes of the people it was power, to the eyes of the others it was an enemy, to the eyes of the demons it was a festival. Where money is, sin follows of course, that was how it usually goes.
900 Years Ago, The world almost ended right then and there, humanity was almost wiped off from existence. How the world worked back then or how atleast the society worked before the beginning of the 5th generation was very different from how humanity works now, hard work was the epitome of all that made elite people elite the prominent figures in the fields of knowledge, trade, economics, and battle. Those people of noble or common origin became solidified in their position above the common folk, they were now people of power, they can move the hearts of others, they can handle the dangers of the world, and they proved them selves in a way that casts off doubt.
The world was almost destroyed, and with it the life that inhabits the world. Humanity saw a glimpse of the end that they so call "Divine Mercy." That mercy was thought of others as an Ultimatum after the death of a god and all the sins humanity has given onto existence. It was thought now for some time that the gods would return once again to enact it's finale. A final moment of existence because their human god was nowhere to defend it, a final stand with the life that was created from nothing. It was all about Fear, the Fear of anything and everything, a fear of the divine, a fear of realizing that they were the weak ones all along, but they were blinded by temporariness, they realize they would die sooner or later and they were all for it.
As the church was holding up on all it's promises after long and followed the human gods teachings, though there were none until some time 1000 years ago, a belief that promised the glory and omnipotence of their creator the human god popped up within humanity, and found it's footing almost 2000 years later. But the world is vast, it is problematic, and the people are different when it comes to daily life and belief, what they do shapes what they are, by the 1500's most of the people of humanity does not believe in religion, the teachings of the Rhethia was forsaken after an incident at the 2nd generation, when Barbatos disappeared from the world and some of the creations left to find better hope, until such time that the people became their own beings, and with the laws of inheritance they expanded through offsprings as per the will of fate, and by the end of the 4th generation humanity and their beliefs came to a close on wether or not a god really exists. But with accidents like The realization of the Existence of 7 Demonic Worlds, The 5th Generation Demon Lord, The Expansion of the Wastes. All coming from the 3rd generation, humanity became apparent to the existence of gods and the land of the gods the more they remember their ancestry.
Beneath the mountains of Shaldendrag lies the old believers, they believed of a Godess that once ruled the world and fought againts Loridel her self. It was a being that questioned even the rightful truth of humanity and even the existence of Barbatos, about who truly created them, They were a cult known only by a few of the people in the social world of humanity, those being some high ranking officials, and rulers of the past. It was always a priority to satisfy the needs of the cult and will always be a need to continue forward. The Carmine Faction, the believers of the old world and the primordial god, they are trying to use sacrificial lambs as a way to revive the world powers of the primordial era, Loridel was the proxy and standard set idealized power of the existence of the unamed god they worship, to them if it existed at the same time and survived walking the same existence as Loridel it would bound to be powerful. That was the sole purpose of The Carmine Faction.
Bishop Amina Rhethia, a well respected person within the imperial kingdom, though once a practicioner of magic, he became a follower of the faith of the church. "Lord Barbatos, Lead us to a new day and protect us from harm. Your children have awoken to see the light of the sun. Though you may be gone, your words are proof of our existence. I pray to you, and always." A prayer a day, keeps the evil away. To be righteous was the churches belief, zero tolerance for evil and injustice, and all laws are bound to be followed by humanity, those sinful will be judged upon. Their belief is that The Human God is above all, those who oppose it is a heretic, but there will be justice in respect to the other existing gods, the belief of another divine being does not mock the Belief of the Human God, it merely strengthens the truth in which he Exists.
These were two of the leading factions in religion, they were believing the gods of the divine realm but keeps Barbatos as the leading god. The doctrines in which they serve the belief is based upon ancient knowledge of the ancestors, the existence of divinity, and the justice of action as per accordance to the commandments created as a guide from the goddess of fate herself.
The commandments were never really talked about much before the integration of active religion to humanity, it was at first thought that the belief was merely the thought of another part of humanity, it was seen as a way to drive sin in people lead by one person they called a higher order of religion. But as time passed the doctrines became of relevance to the knowledge of humanity and it serves humanity well, giving knowledge to stop the self harm that happens between and within humanity itself, ranging from anything that aimed to harm another, it was a head for peace but it was done so in a way where they drove fear within people about the wrath of the divine, and with the supposed end of the world 900 years ago as written by the testimonies of the last 2 generations they were fearing punishment much more that those that actually followed the church of the human god.
A few months ago Taltiem Point was a place of no interest, but slowly the church of the human god suspected all activities to be coming from the nearby mountain ranges. The activity of whom? The Carmine Faction, they had past run ins with their group of believers in the past before the integration of proper religion or the beginning of the religion, to current times. They first introduced them selves as a neutral belief that respects the existence of the human god, though that holds a truth yet they only used that as a disguise to their truth. The purpose of The Carmine Faction was to revive a god that was written in scriptures found beneath Taltiem Point. The ruins of the Point was deep lodged between a second world underground and the world where the humans reside, these scriptures were written by Yellow haired ship sailors that dawned axes, spears, wooden shields, and gold. Some of them had wings, some had fangs, some had scales, and some were looking like monsters. They were the ones that existed during the primordial era, and with the written descriptions of objects it was theorized that their existence were atleast as old to that as the era where Loridel was still walking the world. But time passed and generations fell one after the other, the dangers of the previous world was of no good for the weak, it was the survival of the fittest, the weak disappeared along with what they've built. The generations between the beggining of the scriptures that started from describing the meeting between their high leaders and the Primordial kind them selves, to the last generation of these beings just before the humans began to exist. It was the very fabric of the reason why the Carmine Faction existed. In the middle of the scripts, there was 52 entries that described a descendant of Loridel, an unamed girl that shaped the world as she walked within it, the scriptures said that "As she walked throug the Gardens of Haethem, the living was kneeling to her existence. A God." After finding the scriptures, Ghandarav Garaeisha Kusha found the interest in finding this unknown god.
As the dawn of the 2132nd Year of the Ancestral Calendar rose, the people of the world waited calmly as it always has been for the last 131 years, no tensions were on the air, the people found peace, and silence engulfed the world. It was a quiet start of event that would lead humanity towards another front, another conflict, and another trial. Their God Wishes them the best of luck, the road will not be the same after all.
