Kai's eyes widened as he quickly assessed the monsters surrounding them. His grip on the sword tightened, and for the first time, a clear tension appeared on his face.
"…This is bad," he muttered.
Arya caught the change instantly.
"There are too many," Kai said aloud, his voice firm but edged with urgency. "And they're not weak. Most of them are B-rank or higher."
The words hit the group like a blade.
"B-rank…?" one of the adventurers whispered, his face draining of color. "There's no way…"
Kai's gaze locked onto the massive lion-rhino hybrid, which was slowly circling them, its glowing eyes filled with predatory intelligence.
"And that one," Kai continued, lowering his voice, "isn't B-rank."
The creature snorted, steam rising from its nostrils as its horn scraped against the ground.
"That's an A-rank monster."
Fear spread through the party instantly.
Mia's hands trembled around her staff. "A–A-rank…? That can't be right. Monsters like that shouldn't exist on this floor."
