There are many ways to counter a ninja technique.
You can use elemental superiority—Water extinguishes Fire, Earth absorbs Water. If you have enough raw chakra, you can simply brute-force it: a bigger fire consumes a smaller fire. If you don't want to clash, you can dodge, hide, or use a substitution jutsu to let a log take the damage.
These were the tactics the Seven Kages had seen countless times over their lifetimes of war.
However, they had never seen anything like this.
They stared in disbelief, their expressions mirroring cavemen witnessing an electric light bulb for the first time. They couldn't comprehend it.
Why did the ninjutsu just... disappear? Was it witchcraft? Genjutsu?
If they were to ask Mufasa, he would tell them simply: "It is not disappearance. It is restoration. It is not witchcraft; it is science."
Ninjutsu is the art of molding chakra to affect reality. Chakra itself is a mixture of Physical Energy and Spiritual Energy. What Mufasa did was simply reverse the process.
The "Karma" seal on his hand—a Human-Computer Interface driven by high-speed biological calculations—ran an Inverse Equation.
Any ninjutsu that entered the seal's range was analyzed, its frequency matched, and then forcibly destabilized. The chakra was split back into harmless Physical and Spiritual components, dissipating into the air like odorless gas.
To the Seven Kages, it looked like a fireball the size of a house had simply vanished into the void. To Mufasa, it was just a math problem solved in real-time.
Mufasa had poured billions of ryo into SS-Rank chakra research, poaching the best minds from every nation. The goal? To understand the source code of the ninja world. And this "Inverse Equation" was Phase One of their success.
It effectively created a magic-nullifying zone.
While the Kages stood in a daze, Mufasa didn't hesitate. He surged forward, his speed blinding, and grabbed the floating head of Rasa—the Fourth Kazekage—with his left hand.
The others scattered like startled birds, abandoning Rasa once again.
Rasa, held by the cranium, sneered. "Mufasa... haha. You are wasting your time. You cannot kill the dead. I have infinite chakra. I will regenerate indefinitely!"
Mufasa's lips curled into a cold smirk.
"Is that so? Let's test that theory."
He brought his glowing right hand toward Rasa's face.
Rasa felt a strange sensation. The chakra maintaining his soul's bind to the impure world began to unravel. It wasn't just being suppressed; it was being deleted.
"No... wait..." Rasa's eyes widened in horror. "My chakra... it's not regenerating! It's gone!"
"NO!"
Rasa let out a final, blood-curdling scream.
Under the gaze of the other Kages, Rasa's clay face began to melt. But unlike before, the debris didn't swirl back together. It dripped onto the ground like wet mud and turned into lifeless, gray ash.
The soul was released. The vessel was destroyed.
Mufasa dusted off his hands, the last of his father crumbling into nothingness.
He grinned at the remaining six Kages.
"Gentlemen, I don't think any of you are eager to die a second, permanent death. How about we pretend this never happened? I have places to be."
He needed to save Konoha and the Mist. He didn't have time to play with these relics.
The six Kages exchanged uneasy glances. Mufasa had just proven he could permanently kill an Edo Tensei zombie. The fear was palpable.
Suddenly, a voice echoed in their minds—the caster of the jutsu.
'Don't be afraid. He is bluffing. He only unraveled the technique; he didn't harm the soul. If the soul is intact, I can just summon you again later. Kill him!'
Mufasa sighed. "I never expected my mercy to be wasted on the deaf."
The Six Kages, emboldened by the assurance of immortality, attacked again.
Wind Release: Vacuum Great Sphere! Earth Release: Clayfall! Water Release: Heavens Weeping! Fire Release: Dragon Flame Bullet!
"Damn it! Are you looking for death?!" Mufasa roared.
He raised his right hand. The black-and-white patterns of the Karma seal glowed with ominous light. He charged straight through the barrage.
Pop. Pop. Pop.
Every jutsu that touched his personal space was neutralized instantly. He kicked through a wall of fire and burst out the other side, ready to strike.
But what he saw made him pause.
The Five Kages (excluding Onoki, who was hovering above) had formed a line. Mū, the Second Tsuchikage, stood at the front. Behind him, Reto, Ishikawa, Shamon, and the Third Kazekage each placed a hand on the shoulder of the person in front of them.
They were funneling all their chakra into Mū.
Mū's hands formed a cylinder, aimed directly at Mufasa.
"Hmph," Ishikawa grunted from the back of the line. "Kazekage Mufasa, your strength is truly terrifying. The last time I felt this pressure was when I faced Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha."
"If you admit your crimes and step down," Reto shouted, "I would still be proud to call you a successor."
Mufasa sneered. "Do titles like 'Kage' or 'Daimyo' mean anything to me? I put the crown on my own head. I don't need your permission."
"Then you remain unrepentant," Reto sighed. "This is your last chance."
"That's my line," Mufasa shot back. "I won't show mercy this time."
"Hmph!" The five Kages snorted in unison.
"No need to waste breath," Mū said, his voice cold. "I'll just wipe him from the face of the earth."
A blinding white light ignited between Mū's palms.
"Is that..." Mufasa's eyes narrowed. "Particle Style: Atomic Dismantling Jutsu?"
"Sharp eyes," Mū replied. "This is a Kekkei Tota—a technique that goes beyond Bloodline Limits. It separates matter at the atomic level. Ashes to ashes, Kazekage."
Mufasa straightened up, cracking his neck.
"I could throw a black hole or a nuke at you," Mufasa said nonchalantly. "But I want to test the limits of my Inverse Equation. So, I'll take this one head-on."
The Kages laughed. "Suicide! He's choosing suicide!"
"Pour it on!" Mū commanded.
The four Kages behind him flared their chakra. Five different colors of energy surged into Mū's back. The cylinder of white light in his hands became solid, humming with the terrifying sound of reality tearing apart.
'I really am the final boss of this world,' Mufasa thought. 'Facing a Five Kage combo beam... alright. Let's call it a final exam.'
BOOM!
The massive Particle Style beam fired. It wasn't just a laser; it was a geometric tunnel of deletion, erasing everything in its path.
Mufasa didn't dodge. He thrust his right hand forward.
The Karma seal flared to maximum output.
CRACK-HISS!
The two forces collided.
The Kages watched, waiting for Mufasa's hand to disintegrate.
It didn't.
The beam stopped exactly one meter in front of Mufasa's palm, hitting an invisible wall.
From a distance, it looked ridiculous—like Mū was holding a very long, glowing fluorescent light tube, and Mufasa was holding the other end.
But there was no sound. No explosion. Just the terrifying silence of physics breaking down.
Even with the Karma seal, the beam pushed forward. Three centimeters. Then another centimeter.
"He... he's holding it?!" Mū gasped.
This was a fusion of Wind, Earth, and Fire natures, amplified by five Kage-level batteries. The complexity was off the charts. Mufasa's arm shook violently as his cells processed the equation at light speed.
The space between Mufasa's hand and the beam began to crack like shattered porcelain. Black fissures appeared in the air.
"Impossible!" Mū gritted his teeth, sweat pouring down his face. "He shouldn't be this strong!"
"Push harder!" Ishikawa yelled. "If we don't kill him here, the world belongs to him!"
"Give everything! We can respawn anyway!"
The beam inched forward another centimeter. Mufasa felt his hand burning as if he were holding a handful of magma. The processor was reaching its thermal limit.
"Particle Style: Atomic Dismantling — MAX OUTPUT!"
Suddenly, a roar came from the side.
While Mufasa was locked in a deadlock with the Five Kages, Onoki had flanked him.
A second massive cube of white light hurtled toward Mufasa's exposed ribs.
Mufasa's eyes flashed with rage.
"Onoki! You cheap-shotting old fossil!"
"You left yourself wide open!" Onoki screamed.
"Fine," Mufasa snarled. "Gloves off."
A mechanical shimmer appeared around Mufasa's waist.
A Driver Belt materialized, locking into place with a heavy metallic click.
Mufasa slammed his hand onto the activation switch.
"ZA WARUDO!"
