Omake 9 Farah's Lore

### Omake 7: Farah — The Fallen Queen of Al-Rayan

## Farah Al-Rayan

Once the reigning Queen of Al-Rayan, a dynasty situated along the Middle Eastern side of the Border, Farah was a woman who possessed beauty, power, and a peaceful life. She had a loving husband, two children, and a kingdom she could proudly call her own.

But everything was taken from her when her own son betrayed his family, murdered his father and sister, and sold his mother into slavery.

This is the story of how a queen lost everything.

### Before the Fall

Long before she became Queen of Al-Rayan, Farah was renowned for her extraordinary beauty and unusual body proportions. She worked as an erotic dancer, captivating audiences with her graceful movements, alluring figure, and revealing attire.

Among those who admired her was a young sultan embroiled in a bitter succession war against his own siblings. His pursuit of the throne had consumed much of his life, leaving him little room for anything beyond politics, ambition, and bloodshed.

Yet, whenever he visited Farah, the burdens of royalty seemed to disappear.

Their private encounters gradually became something more meaningful. What began as attraction blossomed into genuine affection, and before long, the young sultan fell deeply in love with her. Farah, in turn, came to love the man beneath the crown he had yet to claim.

Eventually, the sultan emerged victorious from the succession war and ascended the throne as the ruler of his dynasty.

True to his promise, he appointed Farah as his Queen.

Naturally, the court whispered.

Many believed Farah had seduced her way into royalty through her beauty and figure. They dismissed her as a dancer who had ensnared a powerful man, unworthy of the crown resting upon her head.

They could not have been more wrong.

Farah was a descendant of a distinguished lineage of healers. She had studied healing magic from a young age, developing her natural talent into a formidable ability that made her one of the dynasty's most capable healing mages.

Her beauty might have caught the king's attention, but it was her character, abilities, and the love they shared that secured her place beside him.

Under her husband's guidance, Farah also learned the fundamentals of sand magic. Although she managed to reach only the mid-tier of offensive sand magic, she never considered her limitations a failure. She had neither the ambition nor the desire to become a great warrior.

All she wanted was to protect herself and the man she loved.

For Farah, that was enough.

### A Queen and a Mother

As the years passed, Farah gave birth to two children: a son named Kalel and a daughter named An Sari.

Kalel inherited his father's martial prowess and grew into a fearsome warrior. As he matured, he took command of his father's armies, earning recognition as a formidable military leader.

An Sari, meanwhile, developed into an intelligent and capable aristocrat. She possessed the composure, insight, and political instincts necessary to navigate the complicated world of royal affairs.

Farah loved both children equally. She never intended to favour one over the other, and neither did her husband.

For a time, their family enjoyed the quiet, comfortable life Farah had always wanted. The dynasty prospered, the royal household remained stable, and the Queen could devote herself to her duties without fearing that the peace she cherished would disappear.

Unfortunately, peace was never guaranteed.

As the king grew older, a question began to circulate throughout the royal court.

**Who would inherit the throne?**

### The Heir Who Refused to Yield

Kalel believed the answer was obvious.

According to the dynasty's longstanding tradition, only a male heir could succeed the king. As the king's eldest son and commander of the royal army, Kalel considered himself the rightful successor.

However, his father had begun to question the very tradition upon which Kalel's ambitions rested.

The king intended to abolish the male-only succession law and establish a new precedent in which royal authority would no longer be determined solely by gender.

His first decisive move was to proclaim An Sari the future Queen and heir to the Dynasty of Al-Rayan.

The announcement devastated Kalel.

His own father had denied him what he believed was his birthright, while his sister, whom he had long perceived as the favoured child, was elevated above him.

Even worse, Farah supported her husband's decision.

She believed An Sari was qualified to rule and that the dynasty deserved a leader chosen for her abilities rather than her gender. To Farah, this was an opportunity for her daughter to prove herself and lead their people into a better future.

To Kalel, it was an unforgivable betrayal.

Although his parents had treated their children equally, he had spent years convincing himself that An Sari was always the golden child. Now, every insecurity, resentment, and buried grievance hardened into hatred.

He no longer saw his sister as family.

He saw her as the woman who had stolen his throne.

And he would rather see the dynasty burn than allow her to rule it.

### A Pact with Darkness

That night, Kalel secretly abandoned the royal palace and travelled to the outskirts of the dynasty.

There, he sought out a powerful sorceress known as Akin Ra, a practitioner of forbidden dark arts whose reputation had become the subject of whispered warnings.

Kalel did not approach her seeking wealth, treasures, or political influence.

He wanted power.

In exchange for granting him the strength to seize the throne, Akin Ra demanded access to the dynasty's secret magical arts, knowledge that had been protected for generations within its hidden chambers.

She had no interest in gold or precious gifts.

For Akin Ra, knowledge was the only currency that mattered.

Kalel accepted her terms.

The moment their pact was sealed, Akin Ra raised her hands and unleashed her dark magic upon him. His body convulsed as his humanity twisted into something monstrous. His flesh transformed, his power surged beyond its natural limits, and sinister tendrils emerged from his altered form.

The prince had become a powerful humanoid demon.

For the first time in his life, Kalel experienced a level of strength that made every previous achievement seem insignificant.

He returned to the palace that very night.

And began his slaughter.

### The Night Al-Rayan Fell

Royal guards fell before Kalel's newfound power. Soldiers who had once served beneath his command were torn apart, while servants and courtiers were caught in the carnage as the prince carved a path through the palace.

Akin Ra followed him through the bloodshed, waiting for the reward he had promised her.

Eventually, Kalel led the sorceress to the hidden chambers where the dynasty's most precious magical knowledge had been preserved.

He fulfilled his end of the bargain.

With the secrets of Al-Rayan within her reach, Akin Ra began gathering the knowledge she had desired for so long.

Kalel, meanwhile, emerged from the chambers and encountered his mother.

Farah stood frozen in horror.

The creature before her was unmistakably her son, yet the person she had raised seemed to have vanished beneath the demonic power consuming him.

She could hardly comprehend what she was seeing.

"Kalel... what have you done?"

For a fleeting moment, she could only stare at him in disbelief.

Then, instinctively, she reached for the healing magic she had spent her entire life cultivating.

She wanted to save him.

Despite everything, she still believed there might be a way to bring her son back.

But Kalel rejected her magic.

He no longer wanted healing, comfort, or understanding. He had tasted a power that made him feel invincible, and the thought of returning to his former existence was intolerable.

Before Farah could do anything else, Kalel restrained her with his monstrous tendrils.

The Queen struggled, pleading with him to stop, but her words meant nothing to the demon he had become.

He dragged her before the king.

Her husband was forced to face the consequences of the son he had raised, and Farah could do nothing but watch as Kalel brutally murdered him.

The man who had once promised to protect her was gone.

The king who had given her a home, a crown, and a family had been slaughtered before her eyes by their own child.

Farah's world shattered.

Yet Kalel was not finished.

He turned toward An Sari's chambers.

There, he found his sister asleep, unaware that the brother she had grown up beside had become her executioner.

Without hesitation, Kalel decapitated her.

The future Queen of Al-Rayan never had the opportunity to defend herself, plead for her life, or take the throne her father had entrusted to her.

Her reign ended before it began.

With his father and sister dead, Kalel had eliminated every immediate obstacle between himself and absolute power.

Only his mother remained.

### The Queen Beneath the Throne

Kalel turned toward Farah.

Whatever maternal affection she had once held for him was now being crushed beneath terror, grief, and revulsion.

She had watched him murder her husband.

She had watched him murder her daughter.

And now, she was forced to confront the truth that the boy she had carried, nurtured, and loved had become a monster who would destroy everything to satisfy his ambition.

Kalel showed her no mercy.

Using his newly acquired powers, he subjected Farah to a night of torment. Her healing magic could mend wounds, but it could not protect her from the cruelty of the son who had once called her mother.

She endured the destruction of her family while trapped in the palace that had once been her home.

By morning, the people of Al-Rayan had gathered in horror.

Their new ruler sat upon the throne.

Kalel had placed his sister's severed head upon a spear as a public display of his victory. His father's corpse had been discarded and fed to the palace dogs, stripping the former king of the dignity traditionally afforded to a ruler.

Above the throne, Farah hung helplessly, restrained by her son's tendrils.

The once-proud Queen had become a grotesque decoration beneath the very seat of power she had once occupied.

Kalel intended to finish what remained of his family.

But Akin Ra intervened.

The sorceress had developed an interest in Farah. A powerful healing mage with a distinguished bloodline was too valuable to discard, especially when her abilities might prove useful for further magical experimentation.

She requested that Kalel surrender his mother to her.

Kalel agreed without hesitation.

He tossed Farah toward Akin Ra as though she were nothing more than rubbish.

To him, the woman who had raised him, comforted him, and loved him unconditionally had become worthless.

Farah had lost her husband, her daughter, her kingdom, and her son.

Now, even her life belonged to someone else.

### Sold for a Handful of Silver

Akin Ra subjected Farah to further torture and experimentation.

She investigated the limits of Farah's healing magic, exploiting her abilities while subjecting her to treatments that gradually stripped away what remained of her strength.

Farah endured pain, humiliation, and the knowledge that she had become a prisoner in the hands of the very sorceress who had helped destroy her family.

Eventually, Akin Ra deemed her no longer useful for her immediate purposes.

Rather than release her, the sorceress sold Farah to a slave trader.

Kalel knew what had happened.

He did nothing.

The former Queen of Al-Rayan was exchanged for a mere handful of silver, her worth reduced to the price someone was willing to pay for a broken woman.

She was taken away from the land she had once ruled and transported alongside other slaves toward the borders of Tianyu.

During the journey, Farah looked back at her homeland for the last time.

The Watered Land Dynasty of Al-Rayan had once been a prosperous and prestigious realm, a place of life, comfort, and peace.

Now, it had become a fortress of evil under the rule of her own son.

The kingdom she had loved was gone.

The family she had cherished was dead.

And the child she had once protected had become her greatest enemy.

### A Dance Without an Audience

Farah eventually arrived at the slave market near the Tianyu borders.

She was no longer a Queen. No longer a wife. No longer a mother who could embrace her children or share a quiet evening with her husband.

She was simply another slave awaiting a buyer.

Her healing magic remained, though the years of suffering had left her exhausted and emotionally devastated. Her knowledge of sand magic offered little comfort against the circumstances of her captivity.

She could no longer imagine a future worth fighting for.

Instead, she began counting the days until her death.

Yet one small part of her refused to surrender completely.

At night, when the other slaves had settled and no one was watching, Farah would rise and dance.

She danced as she once had before meeting the young sultan, moving through the familiar steps that had shaped her earliest years. But there was no music worth hearing, no audience to applaud her, and no lover waiting at the end of the performance.

Only darkness.

She danced to remember the woman she had been before the crown, before the betrayal, before the bloodshed.

Sometimes, tears streamed down her face as she moved.

Sometimes, she continued until her feet bled or her exhausted body could no longer support her.

And when she finally collapsed, she hid her face and wept in silence.

No one was there to witness the Queen's sorrow.

No one knew that the woman waiting to be purchased had once ruled a dynasty.

No one knew that her hands, now trembling from exhaustion, had once healed warriors and nobles alike.

And no one knew that the graceful dancer moving alone beneath the night sky was mourning a husband, a daughter, a homeland, and the son she could no longer bring herself to love.

### The Queen Who Waits for Death

Farah now waits in the slave market, awaiting a buyer who will determine the next chapter of her miserable existence.

She expects neither rescue nor redemption.

Her hatred for Kalel has replaced whatever maternal affection survived the night of his betrayal. She no longer considers him her son, but a personal enemy whose existence is a constant reminder of everything she has lost.

Her hatred for Akin Ra is equally deep. Farah believes the sorceress is responsible for the tragedy that befell her family, unaware that Kalel's own jealousy and ambition were the true roots of their destruction.

For now, Farah has no means of confronting either of them.

She can only wait.

Wait for someone to purchase her.

Wait for another day of humiliation.

Wait for the moment her suffering finally comes to an end.

The Queen of Al-Rayan once possessed a throne, a loving husband, two children, and a kingdom that flourished beneath her reign.

Now, she possesses nothing but her memories, her magic, and the remnants of a dignity that even torture has failed to erase completely.

**The Queen has fallen. Her kingdom has been corrupted. And the woman who once danced for a king now dances only when she believes no one is watching.**

Her name is Farah Al-Rayan.

And she is waiting for death.
