Chapter 23: Are You Hard to Please?
The door opened, and seeing it was Chen Bin, Wang Jun's face instantly turned grim.
"I told you, whatever it is, save it for home. Don't bother me again!"
As Wang Jun was about to close the door, Chen Bin quickly spoke up.
"I have a way to help you get promoted. Are you sure you don't want to listen?"
Promotion?
Surprised by these words, Wang Jun froze.
He was quite alone in the county government, and Chen Bin had only been here for a few days, how could he have a way to get promoted?
Taking advantage of Wang Jun's surprise, Chen Bin slipped into the room.
Though dissatisfied, Wang Jun closed the door.
"Go on, what do you have in mind?"
Chen Bin sat on the sofa, calmly staring at him.
"My idea is simple: take down your opponent, and you'll rise to the top."
With a cold laugh, Wang Jun's expression turned disdainful.
"County Magistrate Sun is currently held in high esteem. Do you think you can just take him down with words?"
