Everything is ready.
Bai Zhi'er and Feng Fuce decided to set off for the future world.
Before leaving, she was full of reluctance.
"Xingxing is so small. How should we tell him we'll be gone for so long?"
Feng Fuce comforted her by holding her shoulder and said, "It won't be long. When we come back, he'll only be six. The time flow in the mortal world is different from the Demon World, so it's fine."
"Besides, when we were having dinner last night, we already told him that we'd be going away for business. Didn't he not have much of a reaction?"
"Our son is young. As long as someone is with him to play, he won't make a fuss."
Bai Zhi'er nodded silently.
Even though he said so, how could she bear leaving such an adorable and innocent baby behind!
"We must resolve everything quickly and return," she said as she boarded the small boat that would travel through the time stream.
For Feng Fuce, going to the future world felt exceptionally easy.
