Upon hearing Mo Chuxi's concerned question, Yan Xinxin quickly snapped out of her thoughts and shook her head.
"I'm not feeling unwell."
She smiled faintly, but a surge of emotion rose from deep within her heart.
Mo Chuxi felt relieved after hearing that, though he still asked with a hint of curiosity.
"Then what's wrong? Why are you holding onto that spot?"
Yan Xinxin turned slightly to the side.
"Chuxi, I…"
"Hm?"
"Hmm… Nothing, just sitting like this feels a little boring."
Yan Xinxin hesitated, not because she didn't want to tell Mo Chuxi, but because something held her back. She felt that he yearned for them to have more children together. If this turned out to be another false hope, he might be disappointed yet again.
She didn't want to give him any more empty promises.
"We're almost there. Once you see the little ones, you won't feel bored anymore."
"Mm."
Yan Xinxin nodded with a smile, holding Mo Chuxi's hand, her beautiful eyes reflecting hopeful anticipation.
