The Zhan Family, being Jiang Nuo's maternal side, should be visited after the New Year no matter what.
Mu Qiuniang and Jiang Nuo prepared the New Year's gifts, took the two mascots, Mu Wanlian and Mu Wanyu, and got on a plane directly to the Zhan Family.
Perhaps the biggest change in the entire Zhan Family was in Zhan Zhengtong. She didn't rush forward eagerly to ask about Jiang Nuo's recent situation, nor did she nitpick at Mu Qiuniang, the daughter-in-law for not being respectful enough. She simply smiled and exchanged a few pleasantries with them, then called the well-behaved grandchildren, Mu Wanlian and Mu Wanyu, over to open the New Year gifts she had prepared for them.
Towards the two grandchildren, Zhan Zhengtong was very generous, giving them each a set of clothes for each season, three sets of various toys, and some other things.
