On the other end of the phone, Lily Turner also heard the sound of car horns, and her surprised voice came through, "Sis! Are you outside right now?"
She had always assumed her sister was at home and never thought her sister was outside making the call. It was only after hearing the car horns that she realized her sister was outdoors.
"I'm out with a few colleagues having dinner. I'm getting ready to head home now. I'm about to drive, so I won't talk anymore." Alice Turner saw Thomas Fisher get out of the car, walk around the front, and stride towards her. Worried that Lily Turner might hear more, she didn't wait for her sister on the other end to respond and immediately hung up the phone after speaking.
Alice Turner had just put her phone back in her bag when Thomas Fisher walked over to her. Seeing him come up to her, she immediately stood up from the stone bench.
He glanced at the stone bench she just sat on, furrowed his brows, "Hurry up and get in the car."
