"Sis-in-law! I'm not angry, because I knew you and the boss were just joking with me earlier. I was just messing around, too." Luke Crowe never thought Lily would think he was upset, let alone explain herself to him, which made him feel a bit apologetic for the misunderstanding.
He specifically turned back to clarify things to her, insisting he wasn't angry earlier at all.
