Isla Lane only saw Alice Turner sitting in the driver's seat. Standing outside the car, she didn't notice there was another person in the passenger seat. All she could think of now was to quickly get Alice into Benjamin Shaw's car; she wasn't in the mood to notice anything else.
Alice Turner hadn't had a chance to speak before Isla Lane had already opened the car door and reached in to pull her out.
"Mom! I have a friend in the car with me, please don't bother. I'm going with my friend." As Isla Lane's hand reached over, Alice Turner quickly spoke up.
That man doesn't care about her at all, so why should she ride in his car? It's not like she doesn't have a car, and besides, she doesn't want any more interaction with him, nor does he want more interaction with her.
Upon hearing Alice Turner's words, Isla Lane instinctively bent down to look inside, only then noticing a young girl seated in the passenger seat.
"Hello, Auntie!"
Hazel Jackson greeted Isla Lane very politely.
