Mei Qingdai left Songhe Courtyard and headed to Jiangnan Mansion located in the city center.
The top floor of Jiangnan Mansion was a large flat that served as her and Yu Fuce's marital home. It was close to Yu Fuce's workplace, and he would come back a few days each week.
Mei Qingdai opened the door, and a maid approached her. "Madam, you're back."
Mei Qingdai placed her bag on the entryway cabinet and asked, "Where are the clothes that the Mister brought back from the hospital?"
The maid didn't think much of it and replied, "They're in the laundry room. The clothes have already been washed, but I didn't touch the items in the Mister's pockets. They're on the countertop in the laundry room."
