On a later day, Jodie Cooper asked Chloe Grant not just once, "So, are you and Matthew Morgan broken up?"
Coincidentally, it was the night Jodie was leaving to return to Country A. The three of them were drinking sake at home, and Chloe said with a touch of emotion, "White tea, clear wine, nothing else; I'm just waiting for the wind to pass."
"I don't understand," Benjamin Grant replied.
Jodie didn't understand either, but she didn't ask more. She just said, "Since you have your own thoughts and choices, I support you. But when you need me, just tell me directly, and I'll fly back right away."
