Jodie Cooper raised her eyebrows, her expression somewhat ambiguous.
After a while, she laughed, "I have thought about this issue before. I came to a conclusion after thinking it over."
"What conclusion?" Chloe Grant pressed on.
Jodie calmly replied, "If that person was just your boyfriend, I would definitely tell you. But if you're already married and you think he's treating you well, then I won't say anything.
I would only warn him privately. If he wants to come back, then I'll pretend this secret died with me, and it'll rot in my heart."
"Is there a difference between being married and not? Isn't cheating still cheating?" Chloe frowned, clearly not in full agreement.
"There's a huge difference!" Jodie rolled her eyes at her, "If it's just a boyfriend, then you can break up. But marriage is different, with kids and so many other ties.
