The destination of Xia Nan and the others on this trip is a remote island named "Cliff Island," which is about five days' journey from Suo Yu Bay.
The island itself is not famous, although there is a certain number of Fishfolk who reside here year-round. However, its geographic location, away from popular sea routes, means that on this vast ocean, apart from the pirates roaming around, few people pass by here.
Before venturing out, Xia Nan had gathered some intelligence about "Cliff Island" in the Three-legged Sea Dog Tavern, but nearly nothing came of it.
All he knew was that there is a considerable number of islanders living here, the fishery is pretty decent, and occasionally a few lucky fishermen claiming to be from Cliff Island come to Suo Yu Bay to sell the rare fish species they caught.
