At the same time, Aunt Tong's funeral was also held quickly. Aunt Tong had been dismissed by Song Yansheng before, and now she died to save his mother. Naturally, Song Yansheng's heart was filled with guilt.
Even though he gave Aunt Tong's family generous compensation and expressed deep apologies, Aunt Tong was gone, and nothing he said could change that.
Song Yansheng attended Aunt Tong's funeral in person.
He bought a good resting place for Aunt Tong on Anshan, hoping she could rest in peace.
After leaving Aunt Tong's funeral, he went to the hospital and sat by Song Xiuwen's bed, saying many things.
He said, "Dad, wake up. No matter what happened before, I was never afraid of anything."
"But now, I'm afraid."
He said, "Dad, mom is still lying in bed, comatose. When I left back then, I promised in front of you that I would protect her well, but in the end, she still got hurt so badly!"
