All kinds of voices were swirling around, and more and more people were gathering together. Many were holding up their phones, aiming at her and recording.
"Stop filming, stop filming..." Indigo Quigley shouted, trying hard to push those people away and escape, but it was to no avail. Her hat and sunglasses were knocked off, and amidst the chaos, there were opportunistic hands groping her.
In the end, it was the police who intervened and finally calmed the storm, and Indigo Quigley made it to the gossip pages once again.
Alice Conley felt no sympathy for Indigo Quigley's situation. If Dorian Howards hadn't stepped in for her, maybe Indigo would still be flaunting around the Studio today; perhaps she wouldn't even consider that collision to be a big deal. Worse yet, if the baby hadn't been saved, Indigo might have sneered at her.
Even Indigo's so-called apology was laughably insincere. Perhaps she believed that as long as she apologized, others had to accept it and forgive her.
