I remained suspended in the void for a while, looking at the battlefield I had just cleared. The feeling was strange. I had expected my first battle as a Demi-God to be difficult, perhaps even dangerous, but the reality was completely different.
The three Peak Saints who had been fighting the Naga commander had been unable to resist my Authority at all, and the rest of the Eternal forces had disappeared even faster. Even the rift, which had required an entire army of Saints to contain, had been closed with almost no effort on my part.
I slowly clenched and opened my hand, thinking about what had just happened.
"If I can do this every time…"
A faint smile appeared on my face.
Then I looked toward the empty space where the rift had been.
"I can clear these rifts much faster than they expected."
