The episode begins with Twice being restrained by his doubles. He is terrified and confused by this, while other doubles are with Toga. In the tower, Skeptik remotely controls Twice's doubles.
The audience gets tense watching this scene. Twice may be a villain but seeing what they are doing to him and how terrified he is is still uncomfortable for them.
Giran is surprised to learn what they are doing with Twice, and Re-Destro tells him to shut up and explains about Skeptik's Quirk and how he uses intranet devices to enhance the use of his Quirk.
"That's good information to keep in mind when facing that guy." Midoriya said while writing this down in his notebook.
"Yeah." Aizawa said in agreement with his student. "That guy's Quirk may not be a big deal, but he knows how to use it very well, and it's definitely going to be a problem."
"It seems to depend a lot on the technology, so if we could shut it down somehow, we could leave it out." Yaoyorozu said thoughtfully.
"That is certainly a good idea young Yaoyorozu." All Might said congratulating her.
"Although there is a problem there, how are we going to disable their technology?" Mt. Lady asked.
"I think I know the right person for that mission." Naomasa said remembering a certain hacker.

We see Twice being restrained by the doubles created by Skeptik and desperate to cover his face and save Toga who is being carried by the doubles.
The audience feels uncomfortable watching this as it is quite a difficult scene to watch.
Twice: I'm trying to kill her. To the girl who covered me with a scarf. [We see a flashback where Himiko covers Twice with a scarf.] Is it me? It's me! It's me?
"No, it's not you. "I have no idea why you think it's you." Yanagi said confused by Twice's reaction.
"They may have his image but you should be able to tell it's not him." Sero said strangely.
"Maybe it has something to do with his trauma." Recovery Girl said thoughtfully.
Twice: And me? Am I the authentic one? I'm not? I'm going to split in two! Am I or not?!
"This is really very strange." Tetsutetsu said looking at Twice.

"He really should be evaluated by a psychiatrist." Recovry Girl said, somewhat worried when she saw him, he may be a villain but she still worries when she sees his state.
We see a flashback to Twice's past. He is in a police station, he looks beaten.
Twice: People used to fear me because of my looks. I am alone. I have no family.
Police: I see. I'm sorry.
The audience is greatly surprised to see this since they did not expect to see such a scene about Twice.
"Hey?!" Several people exclaimed in surprise.
"And that?" Sato asked surprised.
"It seems to be a memory of some kind." Yaoyorozu said somewhat surprised.
"Has that guy been arrested before?" Mt. Lady asked in surprise. "I know that before joining the League he was a criminal wanted for several robberies, but I had no evidence that he had been arrested."
"Not really." Naomasa said. "Twice was questioned because he was involved in a car accident. He was not arrested but he did have a criminal record."
"I asked me what happened to him to end up like this." Said Midoriya interested in Twice's past as did some others in the audience. Others, for their part, are indifferent to the type of life Twice has had since they see no value in learning more about him.
Twice: I stumbled completely at 16 years old.
Police: The man you ran over broke his arm.
"It seems to have been an important incident in his life." Midnight said. "Yes, that tripped him up completely." The rest of the audience nods in agreement, and some are also curious to learn more about Twice.

The audience is horrified as Twice is beaten by his boss for the incident before being fired from his job. It's certainly unexpected, but now you're starting to understand a little better why Twice ended up the way they did. Some also feel bad for Twice because they consider that what happened to him was very unfair, while others are indifferent to what has happened to a villain.
Twice: My parents died when I was in high school. There were villains involved. I had no other family, so I was left alone.
"He was left alone when he was just very young." Recovery Girl said surprised and…saddened by this fact.
"It's really horrible to lose your parents, but it's even sadder that you didn't have anyone else after that." Uraraka said sadly.
"It's similar to what happened with Kota." Midoriya said saddened as he remembered the child, as did the members of the Pussycats since although Kota had lost his parents he still had them and Midoriaya, while Twice had been alone and had ended up becoming a villain.
"He lost his parents to villains and still ended up becoming one." Kuroiro said surprised and somewhat saddened by this fact.
We see Twice under a bridge using his Quirk to create a double of himself.
Twice: I wanted to have someone to talk to.
"Poor man." Ashido said, saddened when she saw how sad and lonely Twice felt, to the point that she used her Quirk to have some company. The rest of the audience also feels sad seeing this, except for a couple who don't sympathize with Twice at all.
"I didn't expect something like that, ribbit." Asui said surprised. Until now I thought that villains were crazy people who simply wanted to harm others like Shigaraki or Toga, but Twice at least in these flashbacks is quite far from that, he was simply a lonely man who wanted some company.

The audience is shocked and horrified as they see the scene before them. They now better understand Twice's trauma and mental disorder.
"Oh wow." Yanagi said surprised.
"That explains a lot." Recovery Girl said. "Although the exact causes of multiple personality disorder are not known, it has been determined that it has a relationship with strong psychological trauma."
"And that also explains why he is afraid of his doubles." Hawks said. "This matches the information I've been able to gather about Twice."
Elsewhere Giran meets with Twice who has his face covered by a bag.

Twice's doubles created by Skeptik are about to finish off Toga, while Twice complains about the pain he feels.
Some in the audience look away as they do not want to see Twice being beaten, since even though he is a villain it is not pleasant to see him suffer that way, while others are indifferent because they believe that he brought it on himself by becoming a villain.
Twice: It hurts... But it didn't disappear. [We see Twice smiling despite everything, blood and tears coming out of his eyes.] HAHAHAA! I was careful not to hurt myself seriously, because I was afraid of disappearing.
The audience is surprised to hear these words from Twice.
"So he thought he was one of his clones?" Kendo asked in surprise.

The audience is shocked and frightened to see this turn of events. Until that moment they hadn't thought that Twice could be so scary, but that thinking has changed.

"This is really worrying." Ryukyu said worried. "If he can manipulate the temperature of the ice that means he can create more at will. The only thing you need is a nearby water source."
"This is really bad. "It's going to be quite a challenge to face that guy." Vlad said, to which the rest of the audience nodded in agreement.
"Although on the other hand, how does he do it?" Shoto asked.
"Maybe it's some sub-skill of his Quirk." Midoriya said thoughtfully.
"It is possible." Shoto said.
Dabi: How annoying. You could have done it sooner.
"For once Frankenstein is right." Bakugo said.
"Although I think he was waiting for the right moment to use all his power." Shishida said thoughtfully. "Instead of going with everything from the beginning, he waited to see what was best for him to do."
"It is possible." Yaoyorozu said thoughtfully. "And if so, it shows that he has a good knowledge of battle strategy."
"That's obvious. That guy being a member of the army and apparently a pretty strong one, it's not strange, ribbit." Asui said.
Geten: The future we long for, associate the strength of a Quirk with your social position. That is, enhancing your Quirk will be your reason for being.

Geten uses his Quirk to make more ice come out from under the ground, killing thousands of Twice's doubles, much to their sadness.
"That guy is really strong." Ryukyu said worried. "The ease with which he destroy those clones…"
"And that you say it. It's going to be quite a challenge to face these guys." Mandalay said worried.
"Although seeing this gives me an idea to face Twice." Pixie-Bob said coming up with some strategies she could use with her Quirk. "It's going to be complicated and maybe cause serious property damage, but not doing it would be worse."
"Unfortunately you are right." Tiger said. "Twice would cause a lot more damage than your Quirk."
Geten: Life is meaningless without a strong Quirk.
Dabi: How sad. Die.
"For once that villain has a point." Cementoss said. "To think that life has no meaning without a strong Quirk is really sad."
"There are many civilians who, despite not having strong Quirks, manage to have happy and full lives. And even Quirkless people who are also productive members of society and are happy." All Might said thinking about his good friend David's daughter, Melissa, who despite being Quirkless is a young student with a promising future. Several in the audience nod in agreement with the former number one hero, while others like Bakugo disagree.
"Although it's a bit strange that someone like Dabi thinks like that." Ragdoll said thoughtfully. "Being a villain with a strong Quirk, his attitude is certainly surprising."
"It is certainly something striking." Hawks said thoughtfully. "It really makes me even more doubtful about him."
"Who cares what Frankenstein thinks?! He is a villain and his opinion is not important!" Bakugo exclaimed annoyed.
"Bakugo, understanding his motivations may be vitally important." Aizawa said seriously. "It could lead us to important information about him, since he is the only member of the League whose real identity we still don't know."
"I asked me if that was related to his interest in my father. As much as I hate to admit it, the ideology of the army is similar to my father's interest in being the strongest and surpassing All Might." Shoto thought.
Geten: You will be the one who is going to die, blue flames. Your body reeks of burning. Studying a rival's Quirk is basic. Your ulcerated, peeling skin indicates that you cannot fight for long. Because your flames burn you.
"Well, this confirms the fact that Dabi has some kind of problem with his Quirk and that he cannot fight prolonged battles, although the cause of the problem remains unknown." Midoriya said.
"Whatever your problem is, it is good to know this. It is very valuable information for us. If Dabi survived this fight it will definitely help us to know this about him." Yaoyorozu said planning a strategy against Dabi.
"Somehow he survived this, although he's never going to tell me how, I'll see him here." Hawks thought.
Elsewhere Compress is surrounded by the mud of the crumbling Twice clones and we can see the damage the city has suffered. Compress comments that Geten's attacks also affect members of the army.
"That ice guy is actually very careless with his attacks." Gran Torino said. "Not only has it caused serious damage to property, but also to members of the army."
"I don't think those guys care much." Mirko said with disdain. "They are fanatics willing to die for their cause."
"Yes, but that guy is going to be a big threat when we face him." Midnight said worriedly.
Compress: That ice man is on another level.
"Oh wow, what makes you think that?!" Bakugo asked sarcastically.
Compress: It's perfect for Machia, but...
In his laboratory the doctor laughs and comments that this is what happens to them for being ingenious.
The audience becomes worried upon seeing this as they know that whatever Garaki is going to do now will not be good.
Garaki: But All for One wouldn't want them to die yet. [He activates the recorder with AFO's voice which wakes up Machia ahead of time who heads towards Deika to go after Shigaraki.]
"Ahh!" They exclaimed in fear when they saw that Garaki woke up Machia ahead of time and that he was heading towards Deika.
"W…woke him up…" Shoji said in fear.
"It would be best if it wiped out everyone, but I doubt we'll have that much luck." Mirko said earning an annoyed look from Ryukyu.
Geten and Dabi continue their fight, producing a great clash of ice and fire.
The audience is surprised to see the clash between ice and fire, which is in its own way something impressive and striking.
In another part of the city Spinner is running and asking Shigaraki if he is okay.
"Yes, it's as good as it can be for someone who hasn't slept, has fought a monster for over a month, and is in the middle of a battle like that." Tokage said.
"That is actually a very silly question to ask." Tsuburaba said.
Shigaraki: And you? Should we have waited?
Spinner: If we hadn't come, now several heroes would be chasing us. Neither option was good.
Shigaraki: It's true. They cornered us.
"That's true, they really had no choice." Ectoplasm said.
"Those cretins, how dare they expect us to do their dirty work for them." Mirko said, still upset by that fact.
Shigaraki: Look at Spinner. The tower is close.
Shigaraki stops when he sees that there are more members of the army than before and they do not hesitate to attack them as soon as they see them.
Although Shigaraki and Spinner are rescued by Twice's clones to their surprise when they see that he has overcome his trauma.
The audience watches the entire scene in surprise, from the army attack, and the rescue of the Twice clones.
"Now they know it too." Asui said worried.
Twice: Now I'll be more useful, right? [The clones attack the army members.]
"Unfortunately yes." Mt. Lady said worriedly, as did the rest of the audience.
Shigaraki: Perfect Twice. Can you open a path to the tower? His boss and Giran are there. And the fact that there are more enemies as we approach the tower would confirm this. They act as if they were defending the tower. We need pawns for Machia, but the boss must be killed.
"That brat." Gran Torino said. "It has grown a lot in these times, we really should not underestimate it."
"He was able to detect that the tower is the place where the boss and his hostage are. Although it is not too complicated to realize. Just by seeing the number of enemies in the area, it is not difficult to deduce that they are protecting something." Present Mic said.
"It really looks like a video game level." Kirishima said.
Twice: Got it. You sleep while I carry you, leader. We will destroy the army alone. [An aerial view of the crowd of Twice clones and army members is seen.]
The audience is scared when they see the crowd of Twice clones. They know perfectly well that it will be a challenge when they have to face him because now he has become the most dangerous villain in the entire League.
Spinner: Can't we let Twice take care of it?
Shigaraki: No. He loves Giran too much. They play with people's hearts. [A close-up of Shigaraki's face is seen, who is really upset.] It's unforgivable.
These words from Shigaraki greatly surprise the audience as they realize how much Shigaraki cares about his allies, to the point of getting angry at how the army has played with Twice's feelings for Giran.
"He really cares about them." Midoriya said.
"Surprising, but yes." Tokoyami said.
A van stops and Hanabata is heard through speakers encouraging the members of the army to fight against the League, you can see how his words somehow motivate the members of the army to fight harder than before.
Spinner: Was his name Hanabata? When he gives a speech the others become emboldened.
"Now that you say it, it's true." Endeavor said thoughtfully. "Speeches like that always end in incidents of some kind."
"It possibly has something to do with his Quirk. He must be influencing those who listen to him in some way." Ryukyu said.
"If that's true, it would be violating the Quirk restriction laws." Naomasa said seriously.
"Well, I guess it's another charge on your list of crimes." Fatgum said.
Spinner: What do I do? Shigaraki must rest. What should I do?
"Do you really want an answer to that?" Mirko asked sarcastically.
In the tower we can see that Twice somehow managed to get to where Re-Destro is. Twice creates several doubles of himself and other League members and Re-Destro comments that his Quirk Double is magnificent.
"He's not wrong about that." Midoriya said. "It is certainly a magnificent Quirk, although in the wrong hands…"
"You don't have to finish that sentence, we can see the consequences of that on the screen." Yaoyorozu said worriedly as did the rest of the audience.
Twice and his doubles start an argument over which of them is the real Twice.
"Are they going to do that again?" Tokage asked.
"It seems so." Yanagi said.
"It would be great if they killed each other, but it's obviously too good to happen." Mirko said.
"Rumi!" Ryukuyu exclaimed, annoyed with Mirko for the terrible example that her colleague is giving to the students.
The discussion ends when one of the Twice says that they should first help their nakamas before discussing these things, then he goes to attack Re-Destro who destroys him, revealing that he was a clone.
"And they already solved their problem. "That easy." Bakugo said.
"Obviously they weren't going to save us the work." Mirko said.
"Although on the other hand that Re-Destro guy is going to be a problem." Egdeshot said worriedly. "He seems to have a pretty strong Quirk, although it shouldn't be a surprise considering he's the leader of the Army."
"It seems to be some kind of transformation." Midoriya said as he took notes on Re-Destro's Quirk. "Although I hope to have some more information about it, so we can devise a strategy against him."
"Any information we can gather will be extremely valuable." Hawks said, to which the rest of the audience nodded in agreement.
Re-Destro: [A black spot is visible on his face.] How fragile. You know what a hostage is, right?
Compress Clone: Did you see what he did?
Dabi Clone: Don't ask.
"I think he did see it." Komori said scared.
"The hard thing would have been not seeing it, ribbit." Asui said scared, while Midoriya takes notes about the stain that appeared on Re-Destro's face, which he assumes is related to his Quirk.
Re-Destro: [The stain on his face spreads.] Bubaigawara, duplicate more and I will kill Giran. I don't want to kill someone who is not an official member of your League.
"I don't understand why he wouldn't do it, a guy like him should not care what happens to that guy." Tsuburaba said.
"Dead he is of no use to him, while he is alive he could use him against the League and specifically against Twice." Hawks said thoughtfully.
Shigaraki clone: It's okay Twice. You gave us this opportunity. It's one against many.
"That guy is really at a disadvantage." Kendo said thoughtfully. "They surpass him in numbers, but we should not underestimate him."
"Not knowing all his abilities and his Quirk, it's really difficult to predict anything." Midoriya said. "Besides, he still has Giran as a hostage."
The clones of Dabi and Compress try to attack but Re-Destro's arm grows and destroys them with a swipe of his hand. The attack also affects the windows of the tower.
The audience is shocked and horrified to see what just happened on the screen. Re-Destro is certainly very strong if he manages to destroy the clones and cause that damage to the tower, which shows his power and mastery of his Quirk.
"Ahh!" Several people exclaim in horror.
"H...his arm...grew and destroyed everything in one fell swoop." Kendo said surprised and horrified. "It's similar to my Quirk."
"So it seems to be." Yanagi said. "He must have a Quirk somewhat similar to yours."
"We're going to have to be very careful when we face that guy." Gran Torino said worriedly like the rest of the audience, Midoriya for his part writes down everything he sees in his notebook.
Re-Destro: They're pathetic. It is absurd that we fight in the same ring.
"If I were you, I wouldn't underestimate them. The League has proven to be highly dangerous." Naomasa said.
"And on top of that they have become even more dangerous." Mandalay said worried. "It's hard to believe that in this fight alone they have made great strides, and that's not even counting their previous experience."
"If they survive we are going to have a lot of problems." Mt. Lady said.
"Unfortunately the vast majority of them survived." Trought Hawks.
One of Twice's clones approaches Giran who is injured. The clone cries when he sees that the fingers of the hand with which he smoked have been cut off and Giran apologizes to him for leaking information and comments that he should retire.
"That wouldn't be a bad idea, at least we wouldn't have to deal with him anymore." Aizawa said.
Twice Clone: [Crying] Don't apologize! You didn't do anything wrong, so don't apologize!
"That guy doesn't really blame him for anything." Kodai said.
"He's his friend and he cares about him, so it makes sense." Asui said, surprised by this fact, from what she could see so far the villains, Shigaraki included, seem to care about people who are not themselves, something that contradicts what she believes about villains.
Re-Destro: His is nothing more than a game. If you have a joint objective, emotions only cloud your judgment. [He brings his hand closer to Giran and the Twice clone and it turns black as the stain spreads.] They will remain buried under our will.
"That is nothing but stupidity." Bakugo scoffs upon hearing Re-Destro's words. "The absurd ramblings of a villain."
"You're right Bakubro." Kirishima said in agreement.
Shigaraki Clone: You have a very noble dream. [He attacks him by surprise but Re-Destro manages to dodge it.]
Re-Destro: Are you still alive?
"Unfortunately." Mirko said.
Re-Destro: A noble dream, huh? Perfect. Let's see what you are like. [It gets bigger and the spot on her face grows.] Long ago, a woman gave birth to a child with powers, at a time when there were still many prejudices. [An image of the woman is seen with her baby.] Constant criticism. Discrimination. Days when they threw stones at his son.
"Hey? What is this about?" Kaminari asked confused.
"No idea, but I guess we'll find out Jamming-Yay." Jiro said.
"That must have been during the beginning of the era of Quirks." Sero said. "I'm really grateful I wasn't born during that time." Several nod in agreement with him.
Re-Destro: She made a weak complaint. "That's his Quirk." [Attacks the Shigaraki clone who dodges him and smashes the window with his oversized hand.] "Let's create a world where he can be free." But the laughter drowned out his voice. And she did not raise her voice again. Because? Because those who opposed her killed her.
Shigaraki clone: The mother of Quirks, right? Are you making fun of me?
"The mother of Quirks? But what is that about?" Sato asked confused.
"I have no idea." Asui said.
Re-Destro: Excuse me. I thought you were uneducated. [The fight between the two continues]
Some in the audience laugh at Re-Destro's words about how he thought Shigaraki was uneducated.
Re-Destro: Heroes and vigilantes flourished. So the government acted. Their policies completely extinguished women's voices.
"Where did you get that from? "The government implemented measures so that society could live." Iida said.
"Does the mother of the Quirks have any relationship with the army?" Kendo asked.
"Actually yes. She was Destro's mother." Hawks thought.
Re-Destro: Powers are gifts. They are diversity. They are revolutionaries! [Catches Shigaraki's clone and squeezes it in his hands] But the policies they applied were only to keep them under control. Changing their name doesn't mean anything. What they rejected was the use of powers. But there will be no freedom if we cannot use them freely.
"No, policies are so that we can all live in society, if people used their Quirks as they wanted they could cause damage or worse." Iida said annoyed making a robotic cut.
"You don't need to explain it to us, class president." Ojiro said. "Besides, there is no point. "Those villains want to create an anarchic society where the only scale is your power, there is no point in explaining anything else."
"You're right." Iida answered.
Re-Destro: Destro thought "this is not the future my mom would want." We need powers to be gifts of truth! [Holds him upside down]
Shigaraki clone: Mom?
The audience is greatly surprised to hear this.
"Mom?!" Several people exclaimed in surprise.
"Destro is the son of the mother of Quirks?!" Honenuki exclaimed.
"Actually yes." Hawks said. "Although it is a little-known fact since much was done to hide it, since it would tarnish the image of the mother of the Quirks."
Re-Destro: It's a truth they don't want to acknowledge. Do you know why Destro's work is sold? He rebelled against the government for freedom. I will carry the same and fulfill Destro's dream. I am his descendant and heir. I'm Re-Destro!
"Freedom, so that is what you use to justify your crimes?" Pixie-Bob said.
"So it seems." Tiger said.
Re-Destro: Your desire for destruction without history has no more weight than our ideals, don't you think?
"No!" Bakugo exclaimed annoyed. "I don't care what their shitty motives are! You cause damage and deserve to be beaten! Both the army and the League!"
"That's Bakubro!" Kirishima exclaimed as did several of his companions.
Shigaraki Clone: Twice, prepare a cushion to protect Giran.
The audience is surprised to hear these words and wonder what Shigaraki is up to.
Shigaraki Clone: I got stuck in the window after the first attack. [A flashback of that moment is seen] And my gaze met that guy's. [Everyone is surprised by these words] It's here and it probably touches the tower. It's what I would do.
Now the audience is in complete shock hearing these words and understanding what will happen next.
"Wait! Does that mean that Shigaraki…?" Uraraka asked surprised.
"That's not the real Shigaraki. He's another of Twice's clones." Yaoyorozu said surprised when she noticed that fact.
"Shit, this got confusing." Mirko said.
"And the real Shigaraki is at the base of the tower, and he's going to…" Iida said, he didn't need to add anything else as the next scene began to play.
The real Shigaraki touches the tower, destroying it to the surprise of everyone who watches it fall.
The audience watches in shock at what happens on the screen, seeing Shigaraki's Quirk in action is certainly terrifying.
Shigaraki: If you fall from too high you could die, right? [He approaches Re-Destro who survived the fall]
"And of course that bastard didn't die. What a surprise" Mirko said, disappointed by this fact, which causes Ryukyu to give her a look of disapproval for saying something like that in front of the students.
Shigaraki: Are you the boss?
"No, it's the janitor. But of course he's the stupid boss!" Bakugo exclaimed.
Re-Destro: I didn't hear your answer.
"Does it matter? Whatever your answer is, it is not good." Yanagi said. The rest of the audience says nothing as the next episode begins to play.
