Chapter 120 - Chapter 119: THREE KINGS INHERITANCE (23)

Chapter 119: THREE KINGS INHERITANCE (23)

Bai Ning Bing's fingers were doing the most intense keyboard smashing of her life.

The dog army, a hundred thousand strong, moved like a giant millstone. The first wave of demonic raiders? Ground into paste. More than half deleted. The survivors limped back with their tails between their legs, looking like they'd just seen their save file corrupt.

Li Qiang was the first to complain, his voice hitting that "this game is rigged" pitch. "Young master Wu Tian, your intel is WRONG. We did the left flank thing, but then lightning dogs AND akita dogs double-teamed us. WTF is this matchmaking bro."

Bao Tong was straight up malding. "I brought eight hundred people! EIGHT HUNDRED. We heard fighting southeast, went there, and got jumped by lightning dogs, hedge dogs, AND corpse dogs. That's a three-stack combo. Unacceptable."

Hu Mei Er's face was giving resting disappointment. "I walked eight hundred steps in silence. No dogs. Then suddenly, encirclement. We had to fight our way out like it was a zombie survival mode."

Li Xian just stood there, expressionless. His reserve squad did nothing. Bro is AFKing.

Mo Wu Tian's purple eyes did a slow blink. "I can see the battlefield better than any of you. There's a player controlling those dogs. This isn't an auto-defense system. It's a sweaty tryhard."

Everyone's brain did a loading circle. A human was behind this?

"The fog's too thick," Mo Wu Tian continued. "I can only see a silhouette. But they're good. Really good. We need a new plan."

They tried again. Failed harder. The casualties were giving "uninstalling the game" energy.

Bao Tong, bleeding from multiple wounds, finally snapped. "Mo Wu Tian! You owe us an explanation! You're a rank five, why are you just standing there like a spectator mode bot?!"

Mo Wu Tian's smile was the kind that makes you report for toxicity. "Explanation? Here."

His purple eyes glowed.

Bao Tong stared. Froze. Dropped.

Dead. No animation. Just /played and then /disconnected.

The crowd's reaction was live chat exploding. Fiery Star Bao Tong, a famous rank four fire main, killed by a look. A single look.

"You wanted an explanation," Mo Wu Tian said to the corpse. "I gave one. Anyone else want one lol?"

Silence. The kind of silence where you can hear your own fps drops.

Li Xian, moving faster than anyone thought possible, looted the body. Hu Mei Er and Li Qiang joined the scavenger hunt. The three split Bao Tong's inventory like vultures at a buffet.

The rest just watched, too scared to even type in all-chat.

Mo Wu Tian sighed internally. "A motley crew indeed. Need more bodies."

He turned to the crowd. "Spread the word. Tell everyone—righteous, demonic, anyone with a pulse. Say Tie Mu Bai and the others are in that hall, hoarding the Immortal treasure. Say they're blocking us from our rightful loot."

Hu Mei Er hesitated. "But..."

"Time's running out," Mo Wu Tian cut her off. "The blessed land is collapsing. Without more numbers, we can't break through. Basic math."

She nodded quickly. Too quickly.

On the slope, Bai Ning Bing exhaled. "They finally stopped."

She was running out of strategies. Fang Yuan's playbook was half-empty. A few more waves, and she'd be improvising with negative IQ.

Meanwhile, in a hidden cave, Xiao Mang was having his own side quest fail.

He'd been trying to blow up the stone door to King Bao's final inheritance. BAM. BAM. BAM.

The door didn't even flinch.

"Light path has no damage buffs," he cursed. "King Bao clearly wanted a fire main for this. I don't have the right build."

A subordinate rushed in with news. Xiao Mang grabbed him by the collar. "Say that again."

"Immortal treasure! In the thick fog! Everyone's gathering!"

Xiao Mang looked at the stone door. Looked at the subordinate. Did the math in his head.

Rank five inheritance vs. Immortal treasure? Not even a competition.

"Let's go."

Back at the fog, the crowd had grown. Ten thousand players now stood at the edge, their eyes glowing with the universal loot goblin hunger.

Bai Ning Bing's frown deepened. Ten thousand versus one hundred thousand dogs. The numbers were still on her side, but the server lag of coordinating that many units was real.

Mo Wu Tian watched the crowd with a smile that said "working as intended".

"Birds die for food, humans die for fortune," he murmured. "The meta never changes. "

Hu Mei Er pointed. "The righteous path is organizing. They're going in. Shouldn't you... direct people?"

"No worries." Mo Wu Tian's laugh was cold. "Let them be the cannon fodder. The fog, the dogs, the chaos—it's all wearing them down. When they're desperate, then I step in. Basic psychology. "

Inside the bronze hall, Fang Yuan and Feng Tian Yu were in the middle of the most intense crafting session of their lives.

The golden peanut shell was colliding with the Divine Travel Gu.

BAM. BAM. BAM.

Each impact sent shockwaves through their characters. Their vision blurred. Thunder roared in their ears.

"Divine opportunity is unlimited!" Fang Yuan screamed, pouring everything into the activation. "Travel through the lands! ACTIVATE! "

Divine Travel Gu, a Rank Six Immortal, didn't want to be used by a mere mortal. But the Land Spirit was secretly cheating, funneling immortal essence into the process.

The Gu dissolved into light particles, entering the golden shell.

The qualitative change had begun.

Xiao Mang stood at the fog's edge, giving his best "I'm in charge here" energy.

He'd organized multiple assaults. Each one ended with his troops getting absolutely folded by the dog army hiding in the mist.

"No matter the losses," he muttered to himself. "Immortal treasure. IMMORTAL treasure."

But the next wave had fewer volunteers. The death screen was getting old.

"Cowards," he thought. "If we had an Enslavement Path main, we could use beasts as cannon fodder. Where's Wu Shen Tong when you need him?"

The answer: missing. Along with Wu Gui, Zhang San San, and every other notable Enslavement player.

Xiao Mang's suspicion grew. "Is the person controlling these dogs one of them?"

He looked at the demonic faction. They were staring at the same fog, dealing with the same problems.

"Fine. I'll do it myself."

He closed his eyes. His aperture churned. Purple crystal primeval essence flooded into three Gu.

Extreme Light Gu. My Will Gu. Bright Spear Gu.

KILLER MOVE — MY GLORIOUS SPEAR!

Light exploded from his body, so bright it hurt to look at. He pointed at the fog.

A spear of light, 1.8 meters long and 0.6 meters thick, shot forward at breakneck speed.

BOOM.

The explosion was cinematic. Everyone closed their eyes. The ground shook. Wind blasted outward, knocking people over.

Inside the hall, Fang Yuan and Feng Tian Yu, mid-craft, were interrupted violently. Both vomited blood.

Bai Ning Bing's ears rang. Her screen flickered. When her vision cleared, she saw where the spear had landed.

Thousands of dogs. Vaporized. A crater in the mound.

"That's rank five damage," she whispered. "If that hit me, my defense wouldn't last a single frame."

But Fang Yuan had prepared for this. She mobilized the dogs, filling the crater, rebuilding the wall.

When the light faded and the fog cleared, everyone could see.

Ninety thousand dogs. Packed onto the mound like a living fortress. Lightning dogs, akita dogs, hedge dogs, steel armor dogs, yin dogs—each group over five thousand strong.

And the dog kings. So many dog kings. They sat among their packs like flames in darkness, impossible to miss.

But the real threat was the inner circle: the five great mountain dogs. Heavy tai, green hua, smoke song, light heng, star heng. The endgame meta.

And at the entrance of the hall, the final line of defense: several hundred hairy men.

The formation was tight, secure, and terrifying.

Mo Wu Tian's purple eyes scanned the battlefield. "This is getting complicated."

Everyone's gaze turned to the bronze hall. Ancient. Mysterious. Full of promised loot.

"Immortal treasure..."

"Just past the dogs..."

"What's inside? What's the drop rate?"

Greed burned in every heart. But the dog army was a reality check. No one could solo this. This was cooperation content.

Mo Wu Tian smiled. This was the moment.

He walked over to Xiao Mang. "Let's talk."

Xiao Mang snorted but didn't refuse. He'd been thinking the same thing.

"Fifteen minutes," Mo Wu Tian said. "Front and back. Together."

Xiao Mang nodded, then turned away like the conversation was beneath him.

Mo Wu Tian walked back to his faction. "I just challenged Xiao Mang to a competition. We attack from two sides. First to the hall wins—righteous or demonic."

On the other side, Xiao Mang was saying: "The demonic scum wanted to cooperate. I refused, obviously. But they're attacking in fifteen minutes. We'll use them as distraction. Hahaha."

Both factions, riled up for different reasons, prepared for the final assault.

Fifteen minutes later:

"KILL! "

Righteous and demonic, attacking from two directions. Ninety thousand dogs met them head-on.

Blood. Broken limbs. Fire. Lightning. Ice. Vines. Chaos.

Yi Chong charged in, covered in blue fish scales, turning into a shark on land. Dogs couldn't stop him.

Yi Huo became a god of fire, leaving trails of burning dogs behind him.

Kong Ri Tian turned into petals, drifting through the chaos.

Li Xian used his rank five Gu to go invisible, sneaking ahead.

Tao Zi healed anyone who got close, becoming a mobile health pack.

Yan Jun walked slowly, turning into shadow whenever a dog king pounced, then reforming like nothing happened.

The Gu Masters pulled out every trick. The dog army fought back with tooth and claw. The battlefield was absolute chaos.

And Bai Ning Bing, hidden somewhere with the Land Spirit's shared vision, was starting to panic.

There were too many. Too many angles. Too many skilled players. Her control was slipping.

The wall was about to break.
