The adventurer stood with a dumbfounded expression as she wondered what the two could be looking at, but after a second, she realized that Neon was talking to her.
"No, I, I was just admiring how amazing you look, that's all." She said, forcing her lips upward and faking a smile.
"That's a lie, right?" Neon said, staring at her with her expression unchanged.
"...N—no, it's not a lie."
The adventurer wondered if Neon could read minds, but on her part, it was just a guess, nothing more. A second later, she glanced at Yomeko, trying to measure Yomeko's reaction, yet Yomeko seemed unbothered.
"Are you two friends?" Neon asked.
"Hmmm..." The adventurer shifted her eyes to Neon again, almost surprised by Neon's question. Though before she could make up words to reply, Yomeko spoke first.
