"Incoming! Confirmed—it's Mr. Weekend and... wait, is that Black Lily?!"
Gasps echoed through the dark cavern.
"Holy shit... what a surprise!"
From the outside, the surrounding territory looked like a barren, godforsaken wasteland stretching to the edge of nowhere.
Jagged rock formations and ash-gray soil extended as far as the eye could see. The wind howled through the canyons, carrying clouds of dust, bone-dry brush, and the faint stench of rotting flesh.
Dismounting from a mud-splattered desert bike, Mr. Weekend spat onto the cracked earth and leaned over to glance at a tablet strapped to Kim's hand.
"We've arrived," Kim muttered, her tone flat and devoid of warmth.
"Your navigation skills are as sharp as ever, I see," Weekend sneered, wiping sweat from his brow. "Without you, it would've taken me fucking forever to locate this absolute shithole. No roads, no markers—just a bunch of stupid coordinates in the middle of a wasteland."
