Deafening thunder rolled across the world as countless pillars of lightning stabbed down from the clouds, stitching heaven and earth together in a dazzling web of destruction. The wind screamed like a living beast, gathering into dozens of colossal tornadoes that tore across the landscape, uprooting forests and shearing mountains in the distance. Rivers churned violently. Birds and beasts fled in blind panic before the overwhelming presence descending from above.
The peaceful afternoon was gone without a trace.
In its place stood a scene that looked like the end of the world.
Any ordinary mortal witnessing it would have believed the apocalypse had arrived.
