....
Shining rays crawled through the windows resting over Fally's face as she fluttered her eyes and looked around, laying straight in her royal duvet
What happened? I was in showe—..Qilcurn?
Was that a dream? I think I fell asleep after coming home from the mission. I bet I'll rank up this time...I'm not certain.
Fally nimbly sat and locked her fingers under her knee as she folded one knee. The servents broken in finally came by and couldn't remember why did they broke in and quickly left.
Weird.
I came from the mission and then came home from the boat...
And slept here? Yeah that must've happened. The Qilcurn might just be a dream. Silly me! Tee hee~
She puckered her lips while gazing at the window and serene trees flowing restlessly in gentle breeze
-----
After getting off of bed she dressed in an exaggerated fluffy scarf with night-gown inspired gothic regal dress-like royal white gown with silk sleeves and corset of cactus leather. A pink translucent crown which had tiny horns, small glowstones and exagggerated designs.
Fally wallware walked through the corridoor in the backside of her room connecting to a lustrous lush garden with gold and pink leaves as the small decorative gates covered in vines and flowers made it both elegant and ethereal.
She saw a man in his early 20s sitting on a swing reading a novel. His face was bright and fair as her with slightly golden temples and green eyes. He, dressed in royal outfit expressing the beauty of Wallware family with light-pink lips and a hint of sleepiness under his eyes, long lashes making him standing out from the commoners.
Jam Wallware, her older brother and second prince of the family. Little charming, little quirky.
He closed his novel he was reading and stood up and bowed-down to his little sister greeting in a royal manner.
"May the heaven's bless us"
"May the heaven's bless us." She repeated with curtsy.
My brother, we grew up together, shared toys, trips and even food. Some people mistake us for twins but we're actually an year apart.
He walked near Fally and handed her the novel,
"Give up on your dreams, I would never accept it."
"Then how dare you touch my novel without my permission. Only if it wasn't for this dress, I'd have slammed you onto the ground." Fally proclaimed calmly.
"I would rather live in a pig-pen then marry this novel's author just because my sister likes her. If you fancy her that much then why don't YOU marry her?"
Jam passed Fally and stood behind her. "I am not a kind who is interested in females. What an ungrateful brother you are who is refusing to marry such an artist. If I were you I'd marry her in no time. She would sing poetry to make you sleep, her figure is beauty beyond measures, her eyes are as deep as the cosmos. You'd be able to even sleep on her lap, her..."
"Enough!" Jam raised his hand, a white glove with golden pattern around finger tips. He walked towards the corridoor.
"Oh yeah, in case you forgot, today, we're going for a round."
Jam looked back at Fally.
"Really? I nearly forgot! thanks! I'll change into something comfortable immediately!" Fally giggled in happiness as Jam muttered 'ungrateful' inwardly. These siblings shared a bond of petty fights and close company. Pretty natural.
...
Tick. Tock.
The clock's sound echoed in the silent corridoor, but there wasn't lonliness. At the far end stood a man in silver drape with a strong posture. A face similar to greek statues—blue hair, grey eyes and Wallware family's strong suit light pink lips. On his head rested a small sleek crown like a dragon eating its own tail.
First prince, the crowned candidate, next ruler of Glister Archipelago, Nemises.
Jam was pacing through the corridor as he saw Nemises at the end admiring their late-mother, Misty's potrait.
Tsk! Still sticking to his pure-prince mask? Start counting backwards, the hourglass is about to fill-up.
The hatred born by blood-of-womb traces back further in history in the moment of purity and innocence—childhood.
After the death of Queen Maloeveta, when her children didn't even learn to speak properly. Her eldest child, first-prince, Nemises Glister became silent. He would not talk as usual and did not show much emotions, he never conversed with anyone much but what he held was weird to Jam. A smile, drawn over his lifeless pale face, that smile stung Jam to his every last bit. He did not support his siblings yet lived with a smile, that was not maturity but absurdity. And now, he is the next nominal king, next bearer of the crown.
Absurd! Jam could not beleive such person to carry on the legacy, in Jam's eyes Nemises was incompetent and unreal. He wished death upon such person, not because he hated him but somewhere, he believed, Nemises was involved in his mother's death.
The Archipelago later was also called a "kingdom'in a true sense, making such title confusions between 'Glister archipelago' and 'Glister kingdom.'
Jam walked, his hand shaking nimbly but he controlled, and walked, turned left and did not look back. Nemises tried to greet him by bowing but as heavens intended, he was ignored.
He's still mad? Am I really making any progress? It was my fault to put up a smile and try to inspire my siblings to hold them together, strong and firm but I never could talk to them. I would have cried, broken like a delicate glass frame. They would be devastated seeing me in such state. I'm still trying to unite everyone. I promise. And ofcource, I will bring a beautiful lady to this palace after everything is changed for the better.
He calmly watched the potrait of his mother, a faceless lady with gorgeous gown. They never had seen their mother's face and losing her at young age. No painter had ever drawn her. Only father knows how she truely looked like, he thought.
A women with white hair and blue-pink tipped hue walked from the right side. She was a Noblesse Enera. Her status was equal to of a king's child but not quite the case. Her parents died trying to save late-Queen Maloevet. In honour of their lives, she was given a roof and a status.
"May the heavens bless us." She greeted.
"May heavens bless us, as well." Replied Nemises.
"She looks as pretty as ever." Enera spoke, looking at the potrait with calm composure.
She, Fally and my new mother had accepted me, only Jam remains...
Witnessed by the potrait of late-Queen Maloeveta, Nemises's thoughts were simple and caring unaware of the malice growing larger and larger every day standing in front of him, a damned being, a demonic mind, Enera was just a human but her mind her darker than evil.
Ticktock, ticktock, ticktock. Your time is running low dear first prince. Three days later from today, you will die from poisoning, crawling on the floor! Beggings for your life and then I will frame the second-dear-prince of your murder. After his execution I! Enera will seize the crown, I will manipulate Fally and the new queen to be on my side.
A perfect plan!
I wom't let death of my parents go in vain! I will change this nation! Each and every bit of it will no longer be remembered the way it used to be.
Enera rested her hand on her chest remembering her parents as Nemises smiled at her.
They both looked at Late-Queen together.
After a minute, Enera left the place and returned to her room.
She walked inside filled with bravery of a new world welcoming her. She decided to flesh out her knowledge even more, boosting her confidence. Her room was like a miniature library, a royal double-sized bed with golden frame.
She walkes alongside the shelves caressing the spines of her collection as her finger stopped on one book. She felt uncanny and uncertain about it, was it here before? Was her question. It feels out of place. Definietly not something I've read before. She plucked out the book, it was sharp on the edges which made her finger tips bleed.
Ouch!
She plucked it anyways after flinching for a second, the book was made of crimson cover, the cover felt like it was made out of ash yet it remained solid and intact.
The title read as 'Daed eht fo koob eht'. What?
She read the letters in reverse and was shocked. She opened the page which was smeared by her finger tip's blood.
"The girl cocooned herslef in the corner, weeping as her face was a mess of redness and tears. Burning tears lit her cheeks as the clouds roared feasting above heavens over her cries.
She waited.
Waited...
And waited forever, every second felt a count in itself, as the day passed and unknown to her the night had come.
Grief.
She stood up, looking out of the window snorting and moaning. The sky was covered in creepy dark clouds gnwaing their fangs down towards the land of living. The scale of such humongous terrors made her shrink down in fear.
Madness.
The clouds were slowly deforming as moonlight slid into her room illuminating a picture in the desk right by her. Her father and mother, they both had white hair like good clouds.
The bad clouds had gone now.
Hope.
She walked to her bed and sat on it clinging to the duvet hoping their return. After that she'll become the best of the best talents out there, an outstanding prodigy.
Pride.
She hated the fear consuming her as every second consumed her, the ticking of the clock keeping her up from sleeping.
Hate.
....."
This seems so...She flipped all the pages and reached the last one reading the last sentences.
"I lost. I tried. I failed. I had failed you my dearest parents and myself as well. Humans really are fragile creatures, living their lives in vain, dying as tragedies. Death's coming is absoulute regardless. Who wins against the time determines the fate. Only if I had made a secret alliance with Jam. I would've been alive."
That is... ridiculous. In no world that seems real to me, insane! Barbarous! Comical!!!
There's no way what I read was true.
She kneeled on the floor, her chest pressing against the bed as she opened some random pages and read it in her mind juxtaposing her life and the words side by side.
Her golden eyes reflected the words as she grabbed the silk of the bed and sunk her face in it after calming down she sat there blankly.
"Hahahahahaha..." she laughed crazily until she was out of breath, banging the bedframe and crumbling the pages.
"I lost..." as she came to her senses, her nose red from the cries and her eyes like dried leaves
She turned the pages and saw the autbor's name and last note.
Author:-Enera Goulbite,
If you are reading this that means I am dead. But that also means I haven't lost yet. Defeat is unknown to determined. These words will seep into the web of time and reach myself.
I will never lose, I can't. I'll turn the wheel of time again and again and again until I win. Enera, if you are reading this remember.."
A luminous red soul hugged Enera from behind as if merging into her and whisperer into her ears with her gentle lips.
"Reach out to Jam, the goals are aligned, target is alone."
The book and soul vanished, same with the crumbled pieces of papers.
Knock. Kncok!
"In.."
Her manservant came in, Pumped chest, tight cavles and husky face with grey-white eyes. Her mind still was trying to comprehend if whatever happened just now was truth or just an hallucination? She laughed crazily while her manservent tried to calm her down.
"What happened Madam Enera? Someone will hear you. Please, calm down."
Outside the room a gracious lady in her mid-20s walking with the light of youth. She had beige hair and cyan pupil, as lustrous as a jade rock. She had little bit of child fat on her cheeks ane bobbed up lips, her size was comparable to a girl in a late-teens but her genetics weren't the only things at play.
Gyna Sourir. The second queen. After Lady Maloeveta passed away, she only had one wish for the king is to marry again and live a lovely life.
Gyna was trying her best since the first day here to blend in the atmosphere. Nemises was polite to her but the son-mother relation had yet to establish. Jam didn't talked to her much, trying to avoid her and Fally was the one who accepted Gyna more as a friend than a mother.
Gyna walked as her maidservents followed her.
His speech is about to start. Today's the labour day, he's going to give every worker and lower-middle class person some refreshmetns and a speech by himself to encourage them.
She walked as two minor silk tails from her crown flowed behind while her maidservents followed with papers and scripts.
The hallway was becoming brighter as the stange was just behind the front door. Some specks of lights were peeking in, Gyna took a deep breath, collected the papers from her maidservents and opened the door.
A bright light blinded her for a moment. The sun hung above the sky bright and beautiful as she walked with grace.
The king of Glister Arch., the great grandson of the founder of this land, the fourth king of this land. Deourir Wallware.
Golden beard shaved in a sharp and thin manner. Two specks of mustaches and a sharp jawline, pumped chest and strong muscles. Tight calves and straight back. Golden robe with no crown, long flowing hair. Thick eye brows, Golden eyes burning like sun. A long sun charmed pendent hanging in his arm, four rings in the other hand and a cross sword symboled bracelet. A red cape with throne and crown hanging on it's one top corner.
He held the papers, looked at them and then crumpled them with his hands. He looked at crowd of thousands of peasants, workers, maids, manservents, farmers, ironsmiths, factory workers, some low rank soldiers, some poor homeless people with little torn clothes.
His face rose as his lips curved from both sides.
