"Did you have a good talk with Prof. Stephens last night? How's he doing? He called me in such a hurry that I wasn't even able to ask him about his health," Wendy muttered on their way to the campus.
Myra nodded, "Ummhmm. I did. He said~ …. he was doing fine."
"Last night? Fabian? He called Wendy? What's with this alien talk?" Yelena probed.
"Ohh~ …. you don't know, as you were already fast asleep, sis Yel. Actually, ~ …. last night~ Prof. Stephens called me …." Wendy summarised the whole thing to Yelena.
"Ahhh~ …." Yelena hummed and followed it with a sigh, "Where did he say he was staying? she further asked.
"Ummm~ … at the Larson mansion," Myra said, her voice low.
Wendy, whose attention was on her phone, didn't hear it. She recalled something and asked, "Didn't you say at the breakfast table that Mrs. Garcia invited you to have dinner with her and her husband, Mr. Garcia? Did you decide on what you are going to be wearing, sis?"
