Chapter 138 - Chapter 138: I Am Old, but I Am Still Old Enough to Wave the Magic Wand!

Looking at Tom in front of him, his eyes rolled back due to the burns, his face distorted with anger.

Robert calmly picked up his cup and took a small sip.

"Tom, being too easily swayed by emotions will reduce your wisdom."

Hearing this, Tom barely managed to control his anger. However, it wasn't entirely because of Robert's words.

The elixir he had just drunk had given him a peculiar sensation—a very clear intuition. It allowed him to perceive what actions were beneficial and what were detrimental.

Tom now had a strong hunch: if he continued to be angry like this, something bad would happen.

He took a few deep breaths, opened his mouth, and used his wand to heal his burned lips. Then, he cast the Spring Water Charm to refill his cup with clean water.

Tom picked up the cup and drank the water in one go. "I'd better drink water... it'll calm me down."

"Very good choice, Tom. Compared to before, it seems you've gained a new quality—patience. In such a short time, you've learned restraint and patience, two precious virtues." Robert poured himself another cup of black tea. "Tom... if you continue to improve like this, you may surpass me in the future."

"Haha..." Tom let out a few bitter laughs.

He didn't believe that merely controlling his emotions would allow him to surpass the man before him.

In his opinion, to achieve that, he needed many, many opportunities that belonged to him alone...

At that moment, there was some movement coming from the girls' dormitory.

Tom glanced sideways but saw nothing.

Robert's gaze fell to the ground because he had just noticed a slight illusory change in the floor.

"Annie, your feet are exposed," Robert said.

"Ah? Really?" Annie's voice came from the void. Tom was startled to see the air in front of him ripple slightly.

The next moment, Annie's figure suddenly appeared, holding a piece of silver cloth in her hand.

"Nice Invisibility Cloak," Robert praised. "You've been investigating with it for a long time, haven't you?"

"Well, yes." Annie pulled a chair over and sat beside them. "What about you? Don't you guys need an Invisibility Cloak to wander around Hogwarts at night?"

Robert smiled. "Actually, I don't need an Invisibility Cloak to be invisible."

"Really? You've mastered the Disillusionment Charm?" Annie looked at Robert enviously.

If she could master the Disillusionment Charm, she wouldn't need to wear an Invisibility Cloak and walk so carefully. If she wasn't careful, she might trip over a corner.

"Tom, have you learned it too?" Annie asked again.

"Ahem... no..." Tom said helplessly.

He and Robert didn't go out together at night very often, and every time they did, Robert would help him with the Disillusionment Spell.

He might be able to learn this advanced spell now, but to master it perfectly was a different story. If he couldn't cast it flawlessly, he might as well not bother learning it yet.

Hearing this, Annie glanced at him with some disdain. "Why can Robert do it, but you can't?"

Tom suddenly felt his emotions fluctuate violently again.

This woman has successfully angered me!

"You're comparing me to him? Do you think he's a normal person?" Tom snapped.

"You talk as if you know the spell," Annie teased.

"But I have an Invisibility Cloak!" Annie said proudly.

"That means you haven't learned the spell either! So what right do you have to mock me?"

"I have an Invisibility Cloak!"

Robert did not interrupt their bickering.

After all, they were just eleven-year-old kids, still very competitive.

Unlike me, Robert thought, who accidentally returned to the age of eleven...

After a while, Robert decided to cut their argument short.

"Annie, since you've arrived early, shall we go out now?" Robert said with a smile.

Annie paused for a moment, then looked at her watch.

"Well... we need to wait a little longer, at least until nine o'clock before we set off. By then, all the students will have returned to their dormitories... well, maybe except for the Gryffindors."

Tom sneered and turned away.

What do you mean, the castle is empty after nine o'clock? Grindelwald will arrive after nine o'clock!

However, Robert did not expose her. Putting aside her real purpose, her reasoning actually made sense.

"If that's the case, let's have a cup of tea together."
