Coco let out a huff as she leaned against Zaque, her hands clutching his shirt tightly.
After a good while of staying outside, the mediators and the hybrid decided that it's the best time to bring Coco back to the castle— which is a few meters walk from the house.
The first husband carried Coco into his arms because she still felt dizzy, even after they whisked away the food that his friends brought back, but he didn't mind since Coco is clinging to him like a bear.
"I don't feel so good." Coco murmured, her face buried onto his shoulder.
"I know." Zaque hummed and caressed her back. "We're close to the castle gates, so hang in there, okay? I'll make sure that your mother's people serve anything that will make you sicker than this."
Coco groaned, turning her face to his neck and inhaled his scent— a mix of his manly smell and something sweet hit her nostrils, making her relax completely in his arms.
