Do you remember your own birth? probably not, most of if anyone's not gonna remember such an event, tho you should be glad you don't remember it's unsettling and a bit disturbing to recall such a thing with perfect clarity. This is the story of Vísdómr Odinson the third born to Odin the god king of the 9 realms some of you may know him as the leading figure of norse mythology, just know myths, legends, and lies all have some aspect of the truth to them.
Odin the all father some know him from his earlier years as Odin Borrson, the god who used a spear to hang himself for nine days and nights on the world tree yggdrasil for hidden knowledge and the mystery of the runic arts, latter on married Frigg of the Aesir, giving birth to Hel the goddess of death, Thor the god of thunder, and Loki the god of mischief, Odin himself had not expected a fourth child me Vísdómr the god of knowledge, don't be mistaken a god of knowledge is not week but a underestimated threat as knowledge has many forms and applications. My story is a journey to fixings wrongs of the past and the problems of tomorrow.
My birth started like many others with conception however I as not planned nor was my birth foretold or prophesied you could say I'm a accident born 15 years after Thor was born, I was born on a peaceful autumn day tho I believe my father's side of the story might paint a better picture as to me birth was hot then cold and very wet.
-------------------- Odins POV ----------------------
It's been 15 years since Thor was born, and by yggdrasil is that boy energetic and loud, however I'm proud of his accomplishments, he takes to combat and fighting like no other although his control in his godly domain of lightning is poor, on the other hand loki his brother took to magic and his domain so well I have to keep my eye on him or I might fall for his pranks myself. Currently I'm on my way to Frigg my, lovely wife said she has some interesting news and surprise for me, I know she's been working on a new spell so maybe she completed it and wants to tell me however it's unusual for her to meet me In the infirmary especially the royal infirmary.
Entering the infirmary is always an uncomfortable ordeal many good and bad memories attached to any infirmary, as I enter the infirmary, I immediately spotted my wife on a bed with a shocked but happy expression on her face upon walking over and getting her attention I asked what was wrong and what news she had for me.
"Odin dear I just got some good news, this all started as i went to look at Asgards future but, no matter what I did or tried I can no longer see the future of Asgard and our family, so i came to the infirmary thinking I might be sick as I did have a bouts of morning sickness since two days ago, after our lovely doctors scaned me they found something in me growing."
After hearing Frigg say this I went on high alert wondering if it's a virus or parasite she picked up while searching for inspiration on her new spell. " what's wrong Frigg what is growing in you?"
"Well Odin dear congratulations your gonna be a father again" Frigg said with a smile.
Looking at Frigg stunned mentally calculating how amd when thos could have happened and most importantly how this happened as no knowledge yggdrasil gave me when I hung from her branches mentioned a child after Thor and Loki. "How, and, when did this happen" I ask dumbly. Watching as I say that Frigg smile like the cat who caught the canary suddenly starts giggling. " what's so funny Frigg this is serious how would a new child change what we know about what is to come?"
Frigg continued to giggle finialy speaking out, "Well Odin how this happened is quite simple when two people love each other and decide to get naughty if proper spells aren't used and the man's fluid enters the womb of a woman this typically leads to pregnancy. As for when we'll I would say probably three days ago on your birthday you got a bit too excited dear."
Staring at Frigg who's giggling at me probably due to her remark of how knowing full well that's not what I ment. Tho I can't help but laugh as well because this is why I married her she always took advantage of my questions to alter them to make me look silly. Smiling at her I walk over and lean down to give her a hug kissing her hair asking if she knows the gender yet? Watching her regain her breath she shakes her head indicating she has absolutely no idea what the gender of our future child will be.
-------------------- Frigg's POV ---------------------
It's been a month and a half since I found out I was pregnant once again and it's starting to show, I had to explain to Thor and Loki that the reason I was getting bigger was because I was pregnant which means they will become big brothers to a little sibling, after many questions from the two curious children I was finally given some peace to study and read some of the incoming reports from the nine realms, which unsurprisingly are still pretty peaceful despite the little fighting here and there all nine realms seem to be doing alright under Odins rule, after his forceful conquering of the nine realms was relatively easy but when he went after those stones and tried going after the celestials was when we realized his mistake, and Delta enough damage and wiped the minds of those Im the know switching to the king who wanted peace instead of war, our first daughter Hel was raised to be a warrior not a princess so when she found out about the end of war she felt betrayed and fought back, sadly Odin sealed her away and rewrote our history about 2,000 years after Thor was born and now a new child 15 years after Thor and Loki.
-------------------- Thor's POV ----------------------
Mother has gotten bigger and is eating more often she says in a few months Loki and I will have a new baby sibling and to always care amd protect them. Father seems on edge about this. Maybe he's worried about attacks on mother? Ugh my head that's enough thinking for me I'm going to the arena to fight and clear my head maybe if I get so strong quickly nobody will mess with my family after all I am a prince.
---- Time skip 8 month's 3rd person POV ----
"Odin! this is your fault ypu did this to me I'll cut your junk off and feed it to you after ripping your other eye out you absolute prick!" -Frigg
"I understand love but I need you to breathe and push a little harder." -Odin
After seemingly hours Frigg goes quite as a gentle but firm cry reverbs the room from the newborn
"What will you name him?" -nurse
Firgg speaks up weekly tired from having given birth states that her son will be "Vísdómr Odinson"
"A proud choice dear I'm proud of you rest well we have a few chaotic years up ahead again." -Odin
