For the next few minutes, no one said anything.
Lavinia, Kael, and his children watched in silence, even Ferrakar was no different. They all stayed there, standing in silence in front of the man whose journey had ended.
"Kael…"
That was when Lavinia called out in a low, weak voice.
"What is it?"
Kael responded almost instantly. He didn't know what he was supposed to do or how he should comfort her, he couldn't even begin to imagine the complex emotions she must be feeling.
So right now, he only did what he felt was right and decided to do whatever Lavinia said.
"Can I… be alone with my brother for a while…?"
