It wasn't quick.
At least not as quick as Kael was expecting in his mind. Yes, Imperia had prepared well, there were multiple ant colonies she found when she last came here and although those colonies no longer lived here and were all taken to the Heights, they still knew about the terrain and what kind of beasts were seen in which areas.
Of course, Imperia couldn't give Kael exact information in real time. Without her ants, even she did not have that ability, but Kael had his own senses and Cirri for that.
With a bit of searching and digging around, searching for specific beasts that were known to live in the area he was moving through wasn't difficult.
Someone like Kael, with Cirri's help, could do it without much difficulty.
The problem, however, were the beasts themselves.
