Son Goku clenched both fists tight, concentrating the ki throughout his whole body. Accompanied by a loud shout, a golden aura erupted around him; his hair stood up like a torch, and with golden hair and teal eyes, his temperament suddenly turned fierce. In a trance-like moment, it was as if he had become a different person.
King Kai's Planet, already quite small, shook violently due to his transformation. Even the nearby clouds deformed and tore apart because the energy was too intense. North Kai said nothing; he immediately grabbed the monkey, Bubbles, and hid behind a wall that was only half-standing, the two of them poking half their heads out to watch.
"Little Ino, Goku's Super Saiyan transformation is very strong," North Kai whispered a reminder.
Ino waved her hand, indicating she knew.
She looked at Son Goku and said with a hint of reminder in her tone, "An amazing transformation form, though I feel like Bardock didn't have such a drastic change in temperament back then."
Son Goku swept away his previous confusion. His eyes were focused, and he looked incredibly tough.
"Ah? Yeah, I'm still not skilled enough in mastering this transformation."
"I see. Then you really do need further training." Ino also clenched her fists, gave a light shout, and erupted with all her power.
The Super Saiyan transformation was like fire, manifesting completely from the inside out as explosive power.
Super Otsutsuki focused on the balance between Yin and Yang. Though it also possessed a golden aura, the feeling on Ino's side was like an all-encompassing ocean; it looked calm on the surface, but terrifying stormy waves raged underwater.
North Kai: "..."
He originally thought Ino would be defeated after a couple of moves, but he never expected her stance to look not much different from Goku's.
North Kai couldn't fight, but he had eyes for it.
He and Bubbles the monkey looked at each other, both seeing the worry in the other's eyes. If his King Kai's Planet were to explode in a minute, he wouldn't be surprised in the slightest.
Bubbles picked up tools like a shovel, implying that in a while, they wouldn't just be rebuilding the house; they would probably have to repair the entire planet.
North Kai covered his face with his chubby hands, unable to bear the sight!
The next second, accompanied by a muffled explosion of air, Ino and Son Goku crashed fiercely into each other. The massive vibration caused King Kai's Planet to shake along with them.
"Haa—!" Son Goku's desire to attack skyrocketed a hundredfold in the Super Saiyan state, and he smashed a fist straight at her face.
Ino was much calmer than him. Seeing the position of his fist clearly, she grabbed his wrist firmly with both hands, stepped in with a cross-step, and borrowed Son Goku's momentum. Turning quickly and exerting force with her shoulders and back, she uprooted the Super Saiyan with a shoulder throw and hurled him far away.
Son Goku performed three consecutive backflips. Just as he was half-crouching and attempting to stand, Ino punched him in the face.
His body flew backward. In mid-air, he tightened his core, raised his arms, and fired a blue shockwave diagonally toward Ino.
North Kai was so scared his lips were trembling. If this hit the ground, King Kai's Planet would likely be pierced through.
Ino gauged the direction of the incoming shockwave. In the nick of time, she used both hands to push upward with force, altering the shockwave's flight trajectory.
Watching the shockwave fly far into the clouds, she said, "Be careful, Goku. You don't want Teacher King Kai to be homeless, do you?"
Son Goku scratched his head, put his palms together, and apologized to North Kai, "Sorry, I really wasn't paying attention."
His expression became focused again. "Then let's compete in martial arts."
"Okay."
Ino shifted her center of gravity back and executed a sharp spinning back kick. Son Goku, face full of excitement, raised his arm attempting to block, but he didn't expect this to be a feint. Just as his arm went up, Ino charged forward a step and punched toward his left ribs.
His arm extended to the limit, but the fist didn't land true; Son Goku sank his elbow at the last moment to block, causing her move to miss.
Ino instantly appeared behind him. She landed a mid-section roundhouse kick to his back, followed by a high-section roundhouse kick, and then a double kick without letting her feet touch the ground, kicking Son Goku off the surface.
After flipping seven or eight times in the air, Son Goku used the Sky Dancing Technique to hover in mid-air, looking down to find Ino's trace. Little did he know, Ino appeared instantly behind him. Using her waist as an axis, she delivered a volley of aerial kicks, smashing Son Goku back to the ground with one final kick.
With a muffled thud, a large hole was smashed into King Kai's Planet. North Kai looked up and glared at her. She smiled sheepishly and held up a hand, indicating she was sorry and would fill the hole later.
Speaking purely of battle power, Son Goku's Super Saiyan form at this moment was much stronger than Frieza at 100% Energy, but still not comparable to androids like No. 17 and No. 18.
If Ino used martial arts to compete, she was about the same as him, but as soon as she used special abilities, Son Goku was no match.
After exchanging over a hundred moves, just before King Kai's Planet was about to be pulverized, the two stopped simultaneously.
Ino still respected North Kai very much, and Son Goku considered North Kai a good friend. King Kai's Planet was also an important training ground for him, so neither side wanted to destroy this place.
