Chapter 732 - Chapter 732: Martial Arts Village

Ino searched at the Ghost Gate for the better part of a day, but in the end, she couldn't find Ginyu. She didn't want to join that team of rotten losers herself. Suddenly, she had a bright idea: who cares if it's Ginyu or a Ginyu-girl? Wouldn't getting Salza to fill in work just as well?

Just like that, Salza became the leader of this "Dance Team."

He and Jeice were "countrymen" from the same star system; their appearances and heights were similar, making them a perfect team. One had a battle power of 40,000, the other 170,000. This wasn't a big problem; at least to the Grand Kai, there was no difference.

Salza was originally the Captain of Cooler's Armored Squadron. Now, being "laterally transferred" to lead Ginyu's three subordinates was reasonable.

They began to rehearse with rhythmic "He-ha, he-ha" chants. The Grand Kai applauded from the side, indicating it was very good and harmonious.

Frieza was currently traveling to Planet Namek on that type of large spaceship. The ship was huge and carried many soldiers, so its speed wasn't that fast. It was expected to take about a month and a half to arrive at Planet Namek.

The North Kai conveyed the Grand Kai's message to the Grand Elder of Planet Namek: "Fight if you can fight, defend if you can't fight, and run if you can't defend. If you can't run? Then you're on your own. Anyway, you've been warned. If you stubbornly refuse to run, who can you blame?"

The North Kai suggested they run quickly. The First Other World Martial Arts Tournament was about to be convened, and the Grand Kai was very busy; he really didn't have time to manage their "small matters."

Son Goku experienced another near-death resurrection. Like exploiting a glitch, his battle power suddenly shot up by a large margin.

He proposed going to Planet Namek to help those people resist Frieza's invasion, and incidentally beg them to let him use the Namekian Dragon Balls to revive Krillin and Chiaotzu.

Yamcha couldn't keep up with the competitive grind anymore. Using the excuse that the bank was chasing him for debt and he needed to work to pay it off, he didn't participate in the operation.

To save Chiaotzu, Tien Shinhan stated he would go to Planet Namek with Son Goku.

Vegeta had his own little schemes. Acting awkward and reluctant, he also joined the team.

It is worth mentioning that Piccolo also wanted to go to Planet Namek. He wanted to see his own race and his true homeland.

In the end, it was Son Goku, Tien Shinhan, Vegeta, and Piccolo—four people taking a spaceship to Planet Namek.

The spaceship was the single-person pod Vegeta and Nappa had used when they arrived. It had now been modified by Bulma, reducing some speed while significantly improving comfort. It was expected to arrive at Planet Namek a step ahead, in over twenty days.

Originally, Son Goku wanted to ask if Ino could send him to Planet Namek, but Ino was simply too busy. Let alone him, even the North Kai couldn't find her most of the time. So, they decided to just take the spaceship.

Ino was not just ordinarily busy. Because the large jellyfish from planet Black-3500 worked overtime, the competition venue was the first to be completed.

After that, various roads, dining and training venues, as well as accommodation and other supporting facilities, were completed one by one.

The preparations for the First Other World Martial Arts Tournament were all completed. Under Ino's supervision, it was nearly 20 years earlier than originally estimated.

The Grand Kai was different from those experts in Ino's previous life who "complained that 10 million newborns a year were too few, yet felt that 10 million college graduates a year were too many." His words and thoughts were one; he just wanted to make things lively on his side. He didn't care at all how much money was spent. Since it was ready, let it begin!

Contestants from over 3,500 planets would arrive at the Grand Kai's Planet for the tournament. The Grand Kai's Planet itself was still sacred; aside from the contestants, it principially did not receive visitors and wouldn't let just anyone set foot there. The Martial Arts Village that Ino supervised the construction of was located on an asteroid next to the Grand Kai's Planet. It could meet the accommodation, dining, and travel needs of over 12 million intelligent lifeforms.

Though called a Martial Arts Village, it was actually more like a super-large city.

Things like "those who build skyscrapers can't afford to live in them" didn't exist here. All intelligent lifeforms who participated in the construction of the Martial Arts Village were qualified to watch the matches.

The competition would last for a month, and all expenses would be on the Grand Kai's tab.

Ino discussed with the North Kai, then went to the Grand Kai to express that the North Galaxy was willing to bear a portion of the costs. The other three Kais deeply felt the taste of being frantically "out-hustled" by someone.

One by one, they went back in anger to stick pins in voodoo dolls.

Slapping one's face to look fat—how much money does the Grand Kai have? How much money do we have? Is it worth saving money for the old man?

That's what they said, but when it came to actual action, the three Kais still made a gesture, stating that their sides would bear part of the expenses during the martial arts tournament.

The Grand Kai had a typical elderly mindset. Did he understand? He understood everything in his heart. But for him, this was just a matter of watching the excitement. If you guys are willing to pay, then pay. He had his fun regardless.

Ino and the North Kai were also very happy. Being able to out-compete their peers was victory!

The Blue Planet Team, consisting of the Fourth Raikage, Killer B, Kitsuchi, Zabuza, and Fu, was the first to complete the preliminary registration work and arrived at the Martial Arts Village.

This place was between life and death. The participants were all deceased, but the spectators were not limited to the dead.

Haku, Darui, Samui, Mabui, Kurotsuchi, and others arrived one after another to live in the Martial Arts Village through the contestant family channel specially built by Ino, incidentally visiting long-lost old friends.

Haku saw Zabuza, and Kurotsuchi saw her biological father, Kitsuchi. Both pairs were very agitated. The "man of water" almost shed tears on the spot. Kurotsuchi was fairly calm; she had a faint premonition—it seemed her dad could still be resurrected?

The crowd from Kumogakure was equally exhilarated to see the Fourth Raikage and Killer B.

A bunch of people were making a ruckus. The Fourth Raikage disliked them for being too noisy; his voice was like a great bell, his single loud voice suppressing the noise of a whole group.

Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, including Kakashi and the like, all came to join the fun.

Owners of places like Ichiraku Ramen, the sweet chestnut shop "Ganriki-Gan," and Yakiniku Q also settled into the Martial Arts Village one after another, providing gourmet food to the many guests.

The four Kais ultimately had thin foundations. Having the intention was enough. Including food, most of the expenses were still paid by the Grand Kai. "You guys go wild; eat as much as you can. Coming out to play is all about being happy! I, the old man, will absolutely not let you lose out."

Ino referred to her experience with web novels and set up a credit point exchange system.

Consumption in the Martial Arts Village would ultimately be settled using credit points. These credit points were linked to the Grand Kai's warehouse. Specifically, whether one wanted gold, silver, and treasures, currency from major galactic powers, high-tech equipment, or ancient secret knowledge, martial arts, swordsmanship, magic, secret techniques, or any other strange and weird things—as long as it was something that had appeared in the universe, the Grand Kai's warehouse basically had it. The old man was just that loaded.

Ino even saw the manufacturing method for Dragon Balls in his collection. However, the book specially noted that without Namekian blood, manufacturing them was useless, as one could simply not imbue the Dragon Balls with magic power.
