Ino's current strength was neither great nor small; she was a powerhouse.
She had no problem fighting Frieza while he was wearing clothes. If he took off his shirt, she couldn't beat him. If he took off his pants, she was absolutely no match.
If Frieza were to do two more push-ups on the spot, good heavens, Ino would immediately join the Ginyu Force! From this perspective, a Super Saiyan was still necessary.
Bardock was an insurance policy, but Son Goku, the rightful owner, could not be given up on either. The Saiyan's S-Cells were in the body; no matter how angry the soul got, it was useless. She still had to help him get his body back.
Ino spoke: "Where has that guy Ginyu run off to? Plan a route for me. I'll chase after him and snatch Goku's body back before they reach Planet Namek."
The Crossing Moon Bridge could only go to places she had visited before; she couldn't cross into areas she had never set foot in. This route had to be planned well, and there were quite a few calculations involved.
The North Kai yawned repeatedly from exhaustion. Usually, he would have gone for his afternoon nap by now, but for Son Goku's sake, he forced himself to stay awake, constantly searching for the whereabouts of Ginyu's group. Ino proposed correction plans from time to time, while the monkey Bubbles held a pen and paper, taking notes on the side.
Naruto lived up to expectations. From being treated with hostility by the whole village to gaining recognition and acquiring new partners, he spoke to Gohan about life philosophies for a full three hours!
The two hit it off very well. Gohan was not as belligerent as Goku; he preferred to reason with people. Solving disputes through peaceful means was what he wanted to do most. Goku was different; whether he could win or not was another matter, but regardless of who he met—good guys or bad guys—Son Goku always wanted to go over and exchange a few moves.
Naruto took out his frog wallet and solemnly extracted a small piece of paper. "This is the wedding gift Ino gave me, an Ichiraku Ramen grand opening discount coupon! Come on, I'll treat you to ramen?"
What kind of appetite did Saiyans have? Strange fish, giant salamanders—they weren't picky about meat or vegetables. They would eat anything as long as it was roasted cooked. Let alone ramen, they could eat even more exaggerated foods.
Ichiraku Ramen was actually very delicious. Ino had even included the noodle shop in the list of caterers for the First Other World Martial Arts Tournament.
"Chi-Chi, you come too? I have a coupon, we can get fifty percent off!" Naruto issued an invitation.
Chi-Chi had finished lunch at noon and then said goodbye to the surrounding neighbors. She had waited for three hours at this point and was starving! Seeing Gohan listening with such gusto, she felt embarrassed to interrupt the eloquent Naruto, so she could only endure it.
Now that Naruto issued an invitation, she hesitated slightly before agreeing. In her eyes, Naruto was much like her own Goku; they were both people with very simple minds.
They arrived at the Ichiraku Ramen shop. The owner, Teuchi, was a bit suspicious of the "discount coupon" in Naruto's hand. Wasn't this thing from twenty years ago? It looked a bit new, didn't it?
Fortunately, Teuchi was a generous man, and Naruto was a regular customer, so large bowls of ramen were served quickly.
By the time Goku's soul had been transferred into Turles's body over on the other side, and he had walked two steps without revealing any major flaws, Ino finally returned to Konoha Village.
"Goodbye, teacher. Goodbye, Little Himawari, Tonton. Goodbye, Uncle Naruto!" Gohan was very polite, bowing to everyone one by one to say farewell.
Ino opened the Crossing Moon Bridge and took them back to Mount Paozu on Earth.
"Goku?"
"Dad!"
Although the temperament was similar, Turles's skin was indeed much darker than Son Goku's. It was a darkness visible to the naked eye. The couple and father and son were reunited, but for a moment, they were all a bit dazed.
"The sun on Grand Kai's Planet is a bit intense. You guys know how hard Goku works when he trains, practicing bitterly every day, so he got tanned like this... Hehehehe." Yamcha wore an awkward expression, forcing himself to help explain in the face of the confusion from Chi-Chi and her son.
Planet Frieza No. 69.
Ginyu's face was flushed red as he released all his energy, shouting with a voice that was slightly hoarse: "Salza, look, what is my current battle power?"
Salza looked carefully twice, his expression gradually solidifying: "...23,000."
"How is that possible? That guy before could burst out 270,000 battle power!" Ginyu felt like he had fallen into a massive pit. This body wasn't even as good as his previous one. what could 23,000 battle power do in the universe? It was only slightly higher than the freshly dead Dodoria, and not even as good as Zarbon.
His body exchange this time was a loss of epic proportions.
Ginyu's face was very ugly, while Salza wore a look of gloating, his mockery undisguised. Ginyu strained twice more, his muscles bulging all over his body, but his battle power still hovered in the range of over 20,000 but less than 25,000. He was completely dumbfounded.
This Saiyan was simply too deceitful!
Salza's expression over there shifted from wariness to confusion, and now to a cold sneer. The two parties didn't work for the same boss, so directly killing him was unlikely, but eating popcorn and watching the joke was no problem.
"Regardless, you used that Body Change move to deal with that omitted Saiyan from back then. The matter is finished, so I should return to Lord Cooler's side as well."
Salza appeared calm on the surface, but he was actually quite flustered inside. Ginyu only said that Frieza went to Planet Namek. He had some answers in his heart regarding this, but he dared not say them! Report to Cooler? And then have Cooler and Frieza get into a huge fight? Staying out of family matters was key; as a subordinate, getting mixed up between two big shots—did he have a death wish?
Better to run quickly! He planned to conceal everyone and everything he encountered during this trip to Earth. He knew nothing of what Ginyu did or what Frieza planned to do.
Ginyu's subordinates were all dead, and the body he swapped into was a "counterfeit." His mood was depressed to the extreme, and he waved his hand, signaling for Salza to leave quickly.
Salza boarded his spaceship, preparing to leave this planet. Because it was far from its star, Planet Frieza No. 69 was dark for most of the year. But now, the planet suddenly became bright. A fiery red sky covered the entire field of vision, and alarms inside the base rang incessantly.
Salza looked up sharply, only to see a massive swathes of scorching flaming meteors falling from the sky. A golden humanoid phantom, hundreds of meters tall, was constantly pulling meteorites from the universe into the planet's orbit, then pushing or pressing them to smash into the planet's interior.
"Chibaku Tensei: Heaven's Fall!"
Nine meteors were pulled by Susanoo, then smashed straight down onto this small planet.
Frieza's base was the focus of attention. One after another, two meteors ignored the laser cannons below and, carrying unmatched colossal force, smashed into the very center of the structures.
The metal tower atop the building, looking like a bone spur, didn't even last a second before being snapped. Then came the various walls and pipes. Accompanied by an earth-shattering loud noise, the entire base was covered in firelight. Before these space pirates could escape, the second meteor was pulled down and smashed into them.
Ino had also gone to some trouble to catch up with them.
