Anna and Trisha followed obediently…meanwhile Elijah watched calmly as the three girls disappeared into the swirling fog.
Jayinsi offered a warm smile as she tried to keep the humans who had been brought into her territory at peace. "This place is called Sombre Silence, we rule the black forest and the catacombs located within."
Anna's eyes narrowed.
"Sombre Silence? What a weird name to call an entire island."
Jayinsi chuckled.
"Well, it is indeed strange to someone like you…"
Trisha raised her hands, eyes rolling. "And me."
Anna laughed subtly. "See."
Jayinsi sighed. "For you to be in Silverton town, you must have heard and known about the mysteries it holds, am I correct?"
Anna and Trisha nodded.
A gentle smile painted Jayinsi's face.
"Then I can gladly let you in on the fact that this sombre silence is ruled and governed by us witches. Luckily, Silverton town is so large that no one can ever complain about the space."
