Today was the day the royal family had to go to the temple.
As a child whose parents had a lot of money, Aristia had rarely ever been hungry back on Earth.
She realized it was the same with this world. She ate for the taste of food, the uniquely divine flavours spreading on her tongue, and not necessarily because she was hungry.
But when she learned that the royal family had to fast on the day of the banquet, she had truly gone hungry. Her stomach would growl loudly like a tiger, asking to be fed.
So now that they would have to fast this year, Aristia had snacked up until almost midnight the previous day. Though she learnt her lesson after the previous year so she was careful not to overeat to avoid feeling uncomfortable like last time.
It wasn't a healthy thing to do, but, oh well.
Anyway, as a result of that, she felt less hungrier in the morning.
