Chapter 312 - The Strongest Bloodline

Luo Chuan's curiosity stirred as he listened to Old Bai.

Monster beast royal families, ancient ruins, divine beast bloodlines…

The history of the Azure Continent was clearly far from simple.

Something hidden. Something forgotten.

He narrowed his eyes.

"System, what really happened in ancient times?" he asked internally.

Surely, there had to be secrets buried deep within history.

The response came instantly.

System: "The host has insufficient permissions to query."

Luo Chuan rolled his eyes.

Figures.

By now, he was all too familiar with the system's vague, unhelpful responses.

A deep, thunderous pounding shook the air.

Mo Yuan was hammering his chest.

Then—

ROAR!

His bellow tore through the sky, sending a shockwave rippling outward. The force crashed against the land, scattering loose debris and shaking the weaker cultivators to their cores.

A few moments later, the flames surrounding him slowly faded.

The violent aura subsided, but the crimson lines on his arms remained.

They glowed faintly, pulsing with power.

Mo Yuan clenched his fists.

The strength in his body felt different—not just enhanced, but reborn.

His bloodline had evolved.

Mo Yuan exhaled slowly, then turned to Luo Chuan. His usually wild, unrestrained expression was now solemn.

"Thank you, Boss."

This was no small favor.

The power that had been locked away in his bloodline for countless generations had now resurfaced.

For the first time, he understood why Hu Kuang had willingly accepted the role of a mount.

Though he would never admit it aloud, a small seed of envy took root in his heart.

Luo Chuan, however, simply shook his head.

"I only provide the opportunity. What happens after that is up to you."

Old Bai and Ji Wuhui exchanged glances, their expressions subtly shifting.

Something about Luo Chuan's words…

It sounded so effortless, so casual—

And yet, it carried the weight of absolute authority.

Mo Yuan, meanwhile, felt a surge of admiration rise in his heart.

A man of such power, yet he sought neither fame nor fortune.

He was above it all.

This… this is what a true cultivator should be.

Old Bai smiled.

"Boss, can we purchase these as well?"

Luo Chuan nodded.

"Naturally."

Ji Wuhui suddenly thought of something.

"Boss, now that you're here, what happens to the Nine Stars City Origin Mall?"

Luo Chuan answered simply.

"Suspended for a few days."

Ji Wuhui nodded, expecting as much.

Meanwhile, Hu Kuang swaggered over to Mo Yuan, grinning.

"So, Monkey, I didn't lie, did I? How's it feel?"

Mo Yuan took a deep breath.

His outer appearance hadn't changed much, but his entire being felt charged with latent strength—

Like a coiled beast, waiting for the moment to explode.

"If I had to guess," he said, "I'd say my strength increased by at least several percent."

The surrounding cultivators gasped.

Mo Yuan was already at the Eighth Rank of Pathseeker.

For a cultivator at that level to still experience such a significant increase...

It was unthinkable.

Hu Kuang folded his arms.

"Actually, I still think your bloodline isn't as strong as mine," he mused.

Mo Yuan's expression hardened instantly.

"Impossible!" he growled. "The Battle Saint Ape bloodline is the strongest among all demon beasts!"

Hu Kuang snorted.

"Nonsense! The Dark Sky Tiger is superior!"

"Battle Saint Ape!"

"Dark Sky Tiger!"

The two descendants of divine beast lineages squared off, their voices rising as they bickered.

The cultivators around them sweatdropped.

This...

This argument wasn't going to end anytime soon.

Luo Chuan, meanwhile, casually continued chatting with Old Bai and the others.

However, the rest of the cultivators present were anything but calm.

An opportunity of this scale was right in front of them—

How could they just sit still?!

They had to act!

The problem was…

The light screen displayed only four remaining bottles of mineral water and jelly.

Four.

A laughably small number compared to the hungry crowd surrounding them.

If they hesitated even a second longer—

They wouldn't even get a chance to fight over the scraps.

One of the older cultivators finally broke the silence.

"Boss," he asked cautiously, "can we purchase as well?"

Luo Chuan glanced at him.

The man was Huang Shi, an elder from a sect on par with the Silver Moon Palace.

His hands trembled slightly—not from fear, but from suppressed anticipation.

Because for someone like him…

This wasn't just about power.

This was about life itself.
