Everyone at the table looked confused.
Olivia then turned directly to Aurora.
"If you were that fake girl, what would you have done?"
Aurora frowned.
"I would never pretend to be someone else's daughter," she replied calmly. "I'm already a rich man's daughter."
She smiled lightly at Adam.
Adam immediately nodded, pride obvious in his expression. "Of course. Our daughter is the best."
Yet at the same time, he glanced at Olivia with a hint of concern.
'Olivia… might not be thinking clearly today,' he thought.
Mary also gave Olivia a sympathetic look, which caught Olivia completely off guard.
She blinked.
'Why are they looking at me like that?' she wondered, confused. 'I'm saying all this for Aurora's sake.'
From Olivia's perspective, even though Aurora was wealthy, her wealth could never compare to that mysterious rich man's family from the dream.
That was why she had tried to warn her indirectly.
