The catalyst for the second transformation was once again a snap of the fingers. After another subtle magical effect, the figure before them changed entirely.
Compared to the previous "Hydro Archon," who was outwardly cheerful and flamboyant but internally burdened with countless sorrows, the aura surrounding Shu suddenly became profoundly serene.
It was a gentleness that seemed to emanate from the depths of the stars, carrying a deeply soothing power, yet faintly tinged with the clarity and compassion of someone who had weathered countless storms.
The previously chaotic air was as if smoothed out by an invisible hand. Only an almost divine sense of purity remained on Shu's face.
At least... that was the first impression. Pure sanctity.
She didn't make any exaggerated movements. She simply stood quietly, head bowed slightly, hands gracefully folded in front of her. Her posture was elegant and perfectly composed.
As the soft, radiant light faded, a completely new "Diva" appeared before them.
The short, silvery-white hair had lengthened and curled into a cascading waterfall of pale lavender, drifting softly behind her back. Exquisite, metallic halos hovered amidst the strands, emitting a faint, ethereal glow.
Her elaborate suit had transformed into a gradient grey-to-purple dress, shorter in the front and trailing in the back. Purple ruffles gathered at the chest, adorned with musical staff motifs and star-shaped accessories. A delicate ornament rested against her neck, concealing a wound that shouldn't exist.
Most striking of all were the small, trembling feathered ear-wings framing her face, and the pair of pure white wings resting behind her, currently folded gracefully against her lower back.
"Waaaah..."
Kiana let out another NPC-like gasp of awe.
The "Robin" standing before them gently lifted the hem of her skirt and executed a flawless, elegant curtsy. Her movements were as light as a feather, every step seemingly synchronized with the beating of their hearts.
Click-click-click-click!
Bronya's fingers were moving so fast they were practically a blur. In mere seconds, she had snapped dozens of different photos.
"So... so pretty..." Seele clutched her chest, her eyes slightly glazed over.
She realized she had run completely out of vocabulary. Her brain was unable to process any adjectives beyond "pretty" and "cute."
Even the usually composed Mei widened her eyes slightly, a flash of surprise and resonance reflecting in her gaze.
This must be another character from that game... It feels like it belongs to the same set as the 'Stelle' persona.
"Oh my god... Oh my god!!" Having recovered from her temporary aphasia, Kiana finally found her voice.
She lunged forward, stopping abruptly half a meter away from Shu. Her hands hovered in the air, desperately wanting to touch but not daring to.
"Is... is this an angel?!" Kiana pointed at the fluffy feathered ear-wings, her eyes practically sparkling with starlight. "And that halo! And those wings! Shu, did you turn into an angel this time?!"
Seeing Kiana struggling so hard to restrain herself, Shu couldn't help but smile.
That single smile was like a spring breeze, instantly washing away the overwhelming sense of divine sanctity. Miss "Robin" finally revealed her joyful, lively side.
"I'm not an angel, Kiana."
"Robin" raised a hand and gently brushed the feathers by her ear. Her voice was soft and magnetic, carrying a unique, resonant tonality that sounded almost musical. "This race is called the 'Halovian'."
"Halovian?" Bronya lowered her phone. "Is it an extraterrestrial civilization?"
"Correct." "Robin" nodded slightly, the wings behind her tucking neatly against her waist.
"In the original lore for this character, she is a universe-renowned superstar."
"A superstar?!"
Kiana's pupils dilated to their absolute limit.
"You mean... the entire universe knows who she is?!" Kiana grabbed at the air excitedly, still not daring to actually touch. "Seele! Bronya! Sister Mei! Did you hear that?! A galactic superstar!"
"We heard... That sounds incredibly amazing..." Seele nodded blankly.
The group circled "Robin" over and over, as if admiring a priceless, world-class artifact.
"This is amazing! Absolutely amazing!" Kiana clapped her hands loudly, acting exactly like a rabid fan demanding a sequel. "Shu! How many more surprises are you hiding from us?! Don't stop! Keep going! We want to see the next one!"
"Agreed," Bronya chimed in, a rare occurrence. Though her face remained expressionless, she spoke significantly faster than usual.
"Based on the current sample analysis, your transformation repository possesses extreme stylistic diversity. Bronya suggests that, in order to determine the optimal solution, you must continue displaying all subsequent designs."
You two aren't even trying to hide it anymore. Just admit you want a fashion show.
"You guys are so greedy..."
Shu sighed softly and raised his hands.
Snapping my fingers doesn't really fit Robin's aesthetic. Clapping it is, then.
"Since you want to see them so badly, I'll indulge you."
Then, amidst the flash of light, a voice completely different from Robin's rang out with eager anticipation before the transformation was even complete.
This time, there was no divine aria. Instead, the air was filled with a trendy, electronic beat that sounded like it had been ripped straight off the streets of New Eridu.
"The next one up is another household name from a completely different place."
As the introduction finished, Shu's silhouette reassembled in the interplay of light and shadow.
The gentle, soothing aura vanished instantly, replaced by a flamboyant, fiery energy. Long, night-black hair cascaded down her back, held in place by a signature white headband. Her pink eyes flashed with confidence and mystery.
Her attire shifted into a highly stylized, tri-color blend of black, white, and red.
The red overcoat was as luxurious as an evening gown, adorned with gold-inlaid jade and pearl accessories. Even her thigh strap featured a smooth pearl, exuding a mature, queen-like elegance.
However, beneath the crimson coat was a white corset and a black, puffy skirt. The record-like embellishments on either side of the skirt swayed gently with every movement, and the massive bows on the back of her high heels added a touch of girlish playfulness.
Shu rested one hand on her hip, holding a weapon modeled after a classic carbon-button microphone in the other. She tilted her chin up slightly, the perfect blend of a "queen's" arrogance and a rebel's mischievousness practically radiating from her.
"Yo! That's right—it's the shining idol, Astra Yao!"
"Waah~~!" This time, it wasn't just Kiana. All four girls were completely robbed of their ability to articulate by the relentless, back-to-back visual impacts.
Honestly, if Shu had just shown them pictures of these characters, they wouldn't be reacting like this.
But Shu was physically embodying them, flawlessly bringing each character to life right in front of their eyes, capturing every nuance of their personality and movement. The sheer impact of the interaction was staggering.
At this point, we're genuinely going to forget how to tell the difference between fantasy and reality!
