The Empress Feng's conspiracy was plain as day.
Ma Jingtian himself had also been born a commoner, and back then, because of the issue of cultivation resources, he'd been blocked outside the gates of Qingtian Academy.
The reason he washed his hands of Gold and switched from Martial Arts to Spiritual Food, aside from having some talent, was that he wanted to create some more affordable Spiritual Food to help those children who, like him, couldn't train as Martial Cultivators or in Spirit Cultivation because of their birth.
That was why he had taken it upon himself to decide, without first asking Xin Lin's opinion.
"Put it that way, it does make some sense. Setting everything else aside, just for the Empress Feng's constant scheming, we can't just let this matter slide. We'll wait for Ma Jingtian to come back before deciding."
Xin Lin nodded slightly.
