Tan Wenbin made his way back to his camp, the bonfire still blazing, the sentry outposts still manned, and was welcomed warmly:
"Brother Bin, you're back."
Tan Wenbin nodded at him and sat down by the fire.
His camp was still safe, not yet attacked. He didn't know if it was because everyone here was a "rule-abiding delivery person," or because they were too weak and scattered, left to be dealt with last.
"Brother Bin, here, have some to warm yourself up." Xin Jiyue handed over a small pot filled with steaming fish soup.
Back when she first met him on the island, Xin Jiyue had developed a vague affection for Tan Wenbin. She enjoyed fishing and chatting with him.
After he saved her, her feelings became more intense and clear.
The reason this camp could gather so many people was partly due to her actively recruiting. She believed Tan Wenbin would enjoy the feeling of being in charge.
