Kaito bowed politely, unsure of what to say. "Headmaster, you wanted to see me?"
"Indeed," Haruto Ishikawa replied, motioning for Kaito to sit. "Your awakening today has been quite remarkable. A Skill Enhancement talent of that caliber is rare. It will undoubtedly make you stand out among your peers."
Kaito nodded, trying to hide his nervousness. The Headmaster didn't seem to know about the Beast Taming System; he only seemed to be aware of the Skill Enhancement talent. It was clear the system's existence was a secret that only Kaito knew.
Haruto leaned forward, his piercing gaze never leaving Kaito. "I've reviewed your records, and your awakening has caught my attention. I believe the academy will be very interested in seeing how you develop your abilities. As such, I am offering you a reward for your exceptional talent."
Kaito blinked in surprise. "A reward, Headmaster?"

Along with this, you will also receive access to some of our academy's special training grounds and equipment. Use them wisely, Kaito."
Kaito's eyes widened. One million? That was a fortune beyond his wildest dreams. But there was more.
"You will also be assigned a personal tutor to help guide you in maximizing the potential of your unique talent. They will work with you on developing both your skills and your connection with beasts. The academy has high hopes for you, Kaito."
The words barely registered in Kaito's mind.

Kaito stood up and turned toward the door, his mind spinning. As he stepped out into the hall, the reality of what had just happened began to settle in.
