In that instant, a seven-colored light pierced through layers upon layers of time and space, descending with a thunderous roar into an unknown domain. Son Goku, Vegeta, and the group from Universe 6, who had just appeared there, didn't even have time to react.
The very next moment, the light completely enveloped them.
In an instant, everyone vanished from that stretch of time and space, and the moment they disappeared, two figures suddenly appeared in this desolate void.

Frieza's voice carried rage and frustration, his face twisted with fury.

Hearts chuckled lightly, his figure gazing off into the distance.
"Hearts, don't forget our agreement. I'm not in need of your lectures just yet!" Frieza snorted coldly, his expression tinged with irritation.
"Is that so? Then, my esteemed sir, would you care to tell me what should be done next?"
"The power of the Universe Seed is still insufficient. And it seems we've been exposed. The Gods of Destruction and the Angels indeed can't do much to us, but don't forget, the Great Priest is still there, and so is the Supreme Kai of Time."
Hearts chuckled again, his tone casual, as if Frieza's anger meant nothing to him.
"Hmph! You don't need to worry about that. The Great Priest cannot find us. As for the Supreme Kai of Time, she has little energy to spare for us at the moment."
Frieza sneered as he spoke, his words drawing a look of mild surprise from Hearts.
But only for a moment. He soon shook his head with a faint sigh. Meanwhile, no one else knew of their conversation.
Carried by the seven-colored flowing light, the group from Universe 6, along with those from Universe 7, traversed layers upon layers of time and space.
In an instant, they reappeared back where they had been.
Shua!
As their figures emerged, everyone present let out a breath of relief.
"Aspara?"
"Lord Beerus?"
"Mr. Whis!"
"Lord Champa!"
"Miss Vados!"
One voice after another rang out. Whether from Universe 6 or Universe 7, everyone felt a great weight lift off their hearts. Though only a brief moment had passed, none of them had been able to remain calm inside.
That strange space had left them instinctively uneasy.
Fortunately, they had managed to return.
"You okay, Goku?" Jiang Chen smiled and nodded, then turned his gaze toward Son Goku.
"Aspara, I'm fine. That place was really incredible, I even saw Frieza and the others there!" Son Goku spoke excitedly, describing to Jiang Chen the environment they had just been in.
From Goku's account, Jiang Chen, Beerus, and Whis quickly understood the group's earlier ordeal.
After they had vanished, an unfamiliar force descended, directly carrying them off into a completely alien time and space, so strange that even Instant Transmission couldn't be activated.
What shocked them even more was that old defeated enemies began appearing one after another, stronger than ever before.
For a time, everyone had no choice but to fight.
"So it really is the Universe Seed!" Jiang Chen muttered softly, lost in thought.
This scene undoubtedly confirmed it. It was clear that Frieza's aim was to strengthen the Universe Seed. Those entities they encountered were most likely not real beings, but manifestations formed from the Universe's own power, designed to absorb the strength of Goku and the others.
At this, Jiang Chen shook his head.
He didn't know whether those people were simply out of their minds or just overthinking things.
Zen'ō (the King of All) could erase universes with ease, so what use was the Universe Seed supposed to have?
In the original storyline of Dragon Ball Heroes, it all began with the Prison Planet. At first, it was believed that this sealed-off space could only be escaped by gathering the seven Dragon Balls, but in the end, the whole thing exploded, not going as expected at all.
Still, the Prison Planet's ultimate purpose was to serve the Universe Seed, using the Dragon Balls as a guide to draw powerful warriors into combat, so that their energy could be absorbed to empower the Seed and fulfill Frieza and Hearts' ambition.
According to the description, the Universe Seed supposedly contained enough energy to erase all twelve existing universes in an instant, even surpassing the power of Zen'ō himself.
But in reality, it didn't. Even after being implanted into Kamioren's body, it didn't yield the dazzling results one might expect.
Kamioren's strength had already reached the level where he could trade blows with Vegeta in his evolved blue form, at least equal to Super Saiyan Blue combined with tenfold Kaio-ken! And yet, after gaining the Universe Seed, the result was… underwhelming.
Of course, that wasn't Jiang Chen's concern. It wasn't his problem to worry about.
He shook his head, not paying it much mind.
But Beerus and Champa, standing there, couldn't help but furrow their brows, their expressions growing heavy.
They knew full well just how powerful the Universe Seed was. That kind of power could directly affect the balance of all twelve universes. If anything went wrong, all twelve might fall into chaos.
As Gods of Destruction, they could not afford to take it lightly. But at that very moment, The entire space of the Null Realm suddenly froze still. The expressions of Angel Whis and Angel Vados both instantly tightened.
Beerus and Champa, at that very moment, felt as though even their very souls had frozen solid.
"What's this…?" Jiang Chen seemed to sense something and almost instinctively, he shifted his gaze in that direction.
And the instant he did, even his pupils constricted sharply. Because, over at the arena not far away, Three figures slowly materialized.
Two were tall, and one was small.
The familiar appearance, the familiar silhouette, Jiang Chen recognized them almost instantly.
"The… the King, Zen'ō (King of All)!"

Beerus and Champa dropped forward almost immediately, prostrating themselves flat against the ground, their bodies trembling uncontrollably.
"Lord Champa! Lord Beerus!"
The people of Universe 6 and Universe 7 were left completely stunned. They had never once seen their own Gods of Destruction act like this.
Fear.
Yes, that looked like fear. But how could that be possible?
Weren't the Gods of Destruction supposed to be the supreme deities of the universe? What kind of being could exist that even the Gods of Destruction would fear?
Everyone's eyes turned instinctively toward the newcomers. Among them, Son Goku and GT Son Goku felt it most keenly.
"What is that?" GT Son Goku whispered to the version of himself from this world.
"I don't know…? Lord Beerus looks like he's scared!" Son Goku shook his head looking bewildered, his voice almost dazed.
The others too shook their heads, equally lost.
"You… and you… That game just now was really fun. I want to hold an even bigger one." Zen'ō's innocent, childlike voice rang out as he looked at the two.
"Y-Yes, Lord Zen'ō (King of All)!"
"We'll make preparations immediately!"
"N-No, wait, Lord Zen'ō… what… what did you just say?"
Both Beerus and Champa had hurriedly answered, but only afterward did the meaning sink in. Their faces froze in shock as they spoke in disbelief.
"These two Gods of Destruction seem kind of dumb. Should we replace them?" Zen'ō's childlike voice chimed again, sending a chill of sheer terror down Beerus and Champa's spines.
Because Zen'ō's so-called "replacement" wasn't a normal replacement. When universes naturally rotated their Gods of Destruction, the old ones wouldn't die.
But to be "replaced" by Zen'ō meant only one thing, being erased by Zen'ō himself.
"Lord Zen'ō, w-we understand. We'll see to it at once!" Beerus quickly stammered out a reply.
"Y-Yes, we'll handle it immediately!" Champa had caught on as well and hurriedly spoke up.
Just as Zen'ō (King of All) nodded and prepared to leave, Son Goku, true to his original reckless self, decided to act foolishly.
And this time, there were two of them.
Immediately, Beerus and Champa felt their souls nearly leave their bodies in terror.
Fortunately, everything turned out fine, and no accidents occurred.
"Uh, um!"
"Alright then!"
"It's settled. As for the rest, I'll leave it to you. Goku, do you want to come play with me?"
Zen'ō (King of All) addressed Son Goku and GT Son Goku directly.
"Um… do you have strong opponents over there?!"
"Yes! Yes, we do!"

"Whis, you bastard, stop making snide comments!" Beerus became even more agitated.
"Oh, I forgot to remind you, Lord Beerus. In the tournament hosted by Lord Zen'ō (King of All), warriors from other times and spaces cannot participate. That means Goku San and Vegeta San cannot participate either."
While Beerus fumed, Whis apparently wasn't done, feeling the need to speak again.
"Whis, shut your mouth!" Beerus practically roared.
"No, Beerus! You bastard, that's cheating!" While Beerus roared, Champa finally caught on, speaking up angrily.
He did felt like Universe 7 was being ridiculously overpowered. The reason was simple, those people weren't even from Universe 7.
And to make matters worse, they were cheating while competing with his own brother.
This made Champa furious as well.
"Champa, you shut up too!" Beerus roared, instantly silencing Champa.
Although Champa dared to argue with Beerus at times, that was only when Beerus hadn't truly lost his temper. The moment Beerus genuinely exploded in anger, not even Champa dared to say a word.
"Lord Champa. Lord Beerus, this is really too much. You can't just let it slide." Vados, seemingly oblivious, continued to speak as if hoping to stir trouble.
"Vados!" Champa's anger flared.
For a moment, the voices of the two Gods of Destruction filled the surrounding space.
Jiang Chen patted his forehead, looking a bit exasperated.
But he still stepped forward.
"Lord Beerus, Lord Champa, I think we should first focus on selecting the ten most suitable people. With Goku San and Vegeta San from the other time and space unable to participate, we're short two already." Jiang Chen's voice was quiet, but it immediately got the attention of Beerus and Champa.
For them, recruiting the right people was now the most critical task.
Universe 7 was suddenly down two members, and unlike before, since this was a tournament for all universes, the participants had to be carefully chosen.
The situation was even more critical for Universe 6. Especially now, Universe 6 wasn't fully intact either.
Cumber was missing.
Even the slow-to-react Champa clearly realized that Cumber was a problem.

"Right away, Lord Champa." Vados smiled and nodded. She didn't continue mocking; instead, with a thought, their bodies transformed into flowing seven-colored light and shot straight toward Universe 6.
"We'll return to Universe 7 as well!" Beerus spoke similarly.
The next instant, the same seven-colored light enveloped everyone.

The light shot into the sky, instantly cutting through the starry expanse.
A quarter of an hour later…
The Gods of Destruction's Planet. Everyone reappeared in this familiar stretch of time and space. Everything here remained as before.
"Hey, go check if there are any powerful beings left in this universe." Beerus glanced at the East Supreme Kai, speaking with irritation.
"Y-Yes, Lord Beerus!"
Fortunately, the East Supreme Kai had spent the previous period catching up on a lot of knowledge and had a basic understanding of some Kaiō duties.
Otherwise, even this simple mission would have been almost impossible. Before, he really didn't understand anything. Attempting even minor tasks had been nearly impossible.
Now, at least the basics could be handled. With a bit more time, becoming a true Kaiō would no longer be a major problem.
The Kaiō began searching quickly. Meanwhile, time ticked away, second by second.
The others were talking, while Beerus grew increasingly impatient.
From past experience, he knew that once Zen'ō (King of All) set his mind on something, no one could stop him, not even the Great Priest.
The disappearance of six universes earlier was proof enough. Those were six universes, some of which were even more advanced than Universe 7.
Yet, all vanished due to Zen'ō's anger.
No one could guarantee that Universe 7 wouldn't suffer the same fate, a result Beerus could not possibly accept.
