On a peaceful night in Los Angeles, the city just experiencing a significant upgrade to its security, a black BMW sedan drove out of a hotel, its powerful headlights on the road and engine revving with power.
"Are you sure everything is alright?"
"Yes, Nadia. Don't you trust me?"
"Not in such situations.
Next thing now, you'll disappear, and tomorrow I'll find you halfway across the world."
"I'm not that bad," I muttered.
Unfortunately, the person on the other end of the line didn't care for my feelings, and since the phone was on speaker, our interaction gave Valera something to laugh about.
"Is that Valera?"
"Yes."
Shifting from me, my PA exchanged a few words with the cute brunette. After giving me a few reminders, she ended the call.
"Daddy, seems you're mischievous."
"Yeah, I can't deny that," I grunted.
"I like it. I want to be like you."
Valera's words made my forehead scrunch, and I immediately began considering the pros and cons of what she had just said.
