A few months later.
At the outer entrance gate of Mondstadt City, a white-haired girl stood alone beneath the clear sky. In her hands was a slightly crumpled piece of paper, its edges worn from being held too often.
Her name was Luna.
She had been waiting here every day.
Luna stared at the paper, her lips puffing slightly as she frowned. "Liar… sticky dad…" she murmured under her breath.
Suddenly, she clenched the paper and shouted toward the open road beyond the gate."You said you'd be back in a few weeks! But it's already been months! You're totally having fun out there, aren't you, sticky dad?! That's not fair!"
She let everything out in one breath.
"Luna?"
Luna blinked and turned around. Standing there was Amber, just returning from her patrol.
"Ah—Amber?" Luna tilted her head. "Is there something on my face?"
Amber froze for a moment. Her eyes lingered on Luna longer than usual, guilt flickering across her expression.
"It's nothing, Luna." Amber shook her head, forcing a smile.
"Is that so?" Luna hummed, then noticed two unfamiliar figures behind Amber.
"Huh? Who are these two, Amber?" Luna asked, pointing.
One was a blonde girl with a complicated look in her eyes. The other was… a small floating creature.
"Why does everyone keep looking at me like that lately?" Luna muttered. She then squinted at the floating figure. "Also, what is this creature? Is it edible?"
"Luna, this is Lumine, the Traveler who's searching for her lost brother," Amber said quickly. "And this is her companion, Paimon."
"Hey! Paimon is not food!" the floating creature protested.
"Woah—it can talk?!" Luna said, eyes sparkling with surprise.
"'It'?! Paimon is not a thing!" Paimon puffed her cheeks and floated closer to Luna.
While Paimon continued complaining, Luna shifted her attention to the blonde girl.
"By the way, why are you looking at me like that?" Luna asked bluntly.
Lumine hesitated. "Ah… it's just that you look similar to someone I know."
"Oh?" Luna crossed her arms thoughtfully. "But I don't think I've met you before… hmm."
Her eyes suddenly lit up.
"Wait—you're a Traveler, right?! That means you've been to lots of places!"Luna leaned forward excitedly.
"Have you ever met a drunk middle-aged man with the same hair as mine? Blue eyes, likes flirting with girls—stuff like that?"
She spoke rapidly, barely pausing for breath.
"Have you seen him? That's my dad!" Then, without warning, she grinned. "Also—you're really pretty! Are you single? What's your type? Are you open-minded?"
"…Uh…" Lumine froze, completely overwhelmed.
"Oh, that's a shame…" Luna sighed.
She tilted her head again."Wait—do you mean you don't know about my dad, or you don't know your type, or you don't know if you're single, or you don't know if you're open-minded?"
"…Neither." Lumine answered honestly.
"Ahem."
Amber coughed sharply, shooting Luna a look.
"Hehe…" Luna rubbed her cheek and looked away, avoiding eye contact.
"Anyway!" Luna said cheerfully, waving her hand."You three look busy! You can continue whatever you're doing! I'll keep waiting here!"
"Um… Luna," Amber called softly.
"Hmm? What is it, Amber?"
"Do you really need to wait for Uncle Lucien here… every day?" Amber asked. Her voice wavered slightly when she said his name.
"Of course!" Luna replied immediately."I'm going to ambush him! If I don't, he'll just stroll past this gate like nothing happened! At least this way, I can surprise him!"
"…I see," Amber murmured, turning her face away.
"Then I wish you good luck, Luna."
"Um!" Luna nodded energetically before walking back to her usual waiting spot near the gate.
Amber watched her go.
Then she turned to Lumine and Paimon, forcing a cheerful smile.
"Come on. I'll show you around the city."
Paimon floated closer to Lumine and whispered, "Is something wrong with Amber?".
Lumine only shrugged.

As they say, misfortune never comes with a warning.
A disaster struck Mondstadt City without mercy.
One of the Four Winds of Mondstadt. Dvalin, the Dragon of the East appeared above the city, his massive wings tearing through the sky.
For reasons unknown, the guardian dragon had turned his fury upon the city he was meant to protect.
A violent windstorm swallowed Mondstadt whole.
Buildings shook. People screamed. The sky twisted into chaos.
High above the city, Lumine, the unlucky Traveler, was swept into the raging storm, barely managing to keep herself steady in the air.
On the ground, Luna raised her arm to shield her face as the violent wind battered against her body. Her eyes widened as she watched the disaster unfolding over the city she had come to call home.
Just as she was about to move to help.
She froze.
Up in the sky, she saw Lumine fighting Dvalin head-on, moving through the air with surprising ease.
"…She's handling it," Luna muttered under her breath.
But something felt wrong.
Dvalin's movements were erratic. His roars sounded distorted, pained.Yet when Luna focused, she frowned.
Before she could think further, a soft voice whispered beside her ear.
"This isn't Abyss energy…"
Luna's eyes widened. She turned sharply to her side.
No one was there.
She stood still for a moment, her heart pounding.
Luna murmured, shaking her head. "With this chaos, it's probably just my imagination."
She forced herself to ignore the unease and turned back toward the sky.
By the time she looked again, it was already over.
Lumine delivered the final blow, forcing Dvalin to retreat. The violent storm weakened, then slowly dispersed.
The city was saved.
Cheers erupted from below.
Somewhere far away.
In a space drowned in darkness, untouched by light or time,Aether, the Prince of the Abyss, sat silently upon a broken throne.
Before him rested a massive greatsword.
Lucien's greatsword.
Aether stared at it calmly, his golden eyes unreadable.
"So this is Honkai…" he thought.
He hadn't expected the energy to be so corrosive—so destructive to its vessel.
Yet…
"It still functions," he murmured."And that is enough."
In his hand, a small mirror-like device flickered to life.Within it played the final moments of the battle—Lumine repelling Dvalin, saving Mondstadt.
Aether watched without emotion.
Then he closed his eyes.
From the darkness, a distant voice echoed.
"Your Highness… the plan… it was only half successful."
The voice trembled with apology.
Aether remained silent, his attention still on the device.
After a long pause, he lifted his hand slightly.
The voice immediately fell quiet, retreating into the shadows.
Before the presence completely disappeared, Aether spoke—his voice cold and absolute.
"Put more Honkai energy into it."
"…Yes, Your Highness."
The darkness swallowed the voice whole.
And somewhere far away, unseen by gods or mortals alike.
A certain being has turn it gaze to Teyvat.. the threads of tragedy tightened once more.

Outside time, space, and the universe itself,an Outer Being watched in silence.
Before her stood a golden tree—an Imaginary Tree beyond form and matter.
Its branches stretched into infinity. Each leaf upon it was a universe.Every universe, a fragile story.
And among the countless leaves, one had captured her attention.
A leaf where Teyvat existed.
She observed it with an amused smile,as though merely glancing at a curious page in an endless book.
Within that world, she had seen familiar a daring mortal—one who dared to resist fate itself.
A human who had endured four billion, five hundred eighty-seven million, three hundred sixty-three thousand, two hundred and one times.
Not a simple loop.
Not a reset.
But broken reincarnations.
Again and again, the mortal split her soul, sacrificing pieces of herself to protect others.
With each cycle, she grew younger. With each rebirth, she became more fragmented.Memories blurred. Identities fractured.
And yet she endured.
"How curious," the Outer Being mused.
How could a mortal withstand such time-consuming agony?Such endless suffering?
That was the moment her interest was born.
Each cycle created a new story.
Each failure rewrote the path.
Each sacrifice added depth to the narrative.
It delighted her.
After all an entity who could obtain everythingoften found nothing meaningful.
But this mortal… this fragile, defiant existence…had shown her something rare.
Wonder.
So she watched until the very end.
Until the mortal finally achieved her goal—humanity defeated the Honkai.
It was not perfect.
Victory never is.
She saved the world, yet still lost both her parents.
And so the Outer Being made a choice.
She granted the mortal one chance.
A chance to meet her parents once more.
Not out of kindness.
But in exchange—
She wanted to witnessanother story.
And now, here she was again, watching.
Even after struggling against Honkai for countless lives,a foolish being had made a fatal mistake—
Using Honkai once more.
And now, the Will of Honkai had turned its gaze upon this new world.
The Outer Being smiled wider.
Tentacles lined with countless unblinking eyes unfurled around her, each eye observing infinite possibilities at once.
She was amused.
Curious.
Eager.
"What will you do this time?" she wondered.
"Will you walk the same path…or carve a new one?"
Her voice echoed through all realities at once.
"Show me your path, Kiana."
The name resonated across the Imaginary Tree.
The Outer Being grinned.
