[8 years later]
Max sat with a grin on face, his gaze fixed on the board as his body shook with restrained excitement and anticipation.
"Now what's got you like you want to explode?" Jiro whispered her question.
Max glanced at her, as he whispered back excitedly. "I'm being blessed with my personal sword today, I am brimming with excitement."
Jiro nodded, he had been excited about that for a while. Seems like it was for his quirk or part of his Hero costume. To which she guessed the later, as she wasn't entirely sure how it was related to his quirk with 'foretelling evil does intent to attack me' as he puts it.
Taking one more glance, more longing this time, as she took in his features. His hair had grown longer, much like his dad's. Though he didn't tie it, just letting it flow down to just passing his ears, and it was quite soft to look and to touch. His eyes still held that boisterous energy she liked about him, one that always never seemed to grow dim. Ever. And of course his grin, that excited and calming at the same time, giving you a sense of peace and stability just like a certain number one hero.
She gave a self-depressing sigh. It was so obvious to anyone with two working eyes that she liked the boy. Had she told him? No. reasons only the girl would know. For only that she loved about him, she really didn't like his obliviousness. But she would be patient, good things come to those who wait. She told herself.
Unaware of her thoughts, Max sat with impatience just waiting for the bell to ring. His wish would be granted as the bell rang signalling the end of the day. The teacher quickly gave out that there would be homework, but it was lost on them as the students rushed out.

Max and Jiro walked side-by-side home as their houses were quite close, and they did so since they were kids.
"Make haste Friend Jiro, my word awaits!" Max spoke out, quickly jogging forward.
"W-wait up Max," she said through panted breaths, trying to catch up to the boy.
Quickly turning a corner, a busy intersection, Max paused by the intercross as he waited for Jiro to catch up.
Jiro grabbed her side tirelessly, trying to catch her breath. "S-seriously, you know not everyone has ungodly stamina like you." She reprimanded.
Max scratched his head sheepishly, "Ah, apologies, just brimming with excitement to receive my sword."
Jiro shook her head, but a small smile on her face. She finally caught her breath, she glanced at Max almost evenly, "God, how are you not tired. Are you sure you're human."
"HAHA." He chuckled, "No, just some hard work and…father's training." He hesitated at the end, almost like if he spoke it, it would happen.
Jiro shuddered, she remembered a time when she went to visit his house. She saw him bruised, battered, and a bit bloodied, carried by his father. He simply said, 'it was part of his training'. 'Even though Mr Pendragon is nice, he's quite scary.' She thought.
"Well, lets—"
.
BOOM!
.
Her words were quickly cut off by a loud explosion in the area. Their heads snapped to the source of it.
A large muscular man standing at just over 7 foot stood in the middle on the intersection. Long black hair, flowed widely down his back. Huge arms the size of someone's waist, and a mask that just covered the upper part of his face, leaving one to see the red glow in his eyes.
"Ahaha, these fools thought there could stop me!" he shouted. Seeing the panic in the crowds faces as there ran, he smirked sadistically, "That's right run little lambs. Run for your pathetic lives." He laughed, punching down on the floor sending cracks through it and debries.
"Shit!" Jiro cursed, seeing the villain. 'Where were the heroes?', she questioned, but there was no time to think about that as she concluded there had to leave. Her head turned towards Max to tell him there should leave, but her words got stuck in her throat as he wasn't there.
Her eyes widened as she frantically looked for him. 'Where is he?' then her gaze quickly caught the sight of the boy not running away from the villain but towards it. 'What is he doing?!
Max dashed forward, his eyes fixed past the villain. Civilians stuck under some debris. He couldn't just stand and watch, he was a knight, he had to act and save them.
The villain grinned sadistically as noticed the boy dashing towards him. "Oh, a bold one trying to play Hero. Your death shall make Allmight take me seriously to fight me." He cackled.
Max narrowed his eyes, "Your treacherous acts end ye villain." He sped up.
He cackled, swinging his fist at Max's face, a sadistic grin. Max watched this, his eyes sparling with a golden hue, before glowing golden. Tracing the intent, he titled his head, dodging the attack.
The villain seeing this quickly swung his hand horizontally, but max crouched, dodging the attacks.
"Huh, you're quite shrewd. Time to take it up a notch." He shouted, his skin taking on a silverish hue.
He swung his fist forward. Max noticed this time it was much slower, so he casually dodged it. But then, as the fist landed on the pavement, the ground exploded. Max's eyes widened as he quickly crossed his hands, the force sent him flying away.
"Hahaha,"the villain laughed out, satisfied at the result. His head then turned towards the side as he noticed a hero had arrived. His face dropped in disappointment. "You're not the one I seek to battle be gone."
The hero scowled, "Stop this villain, and come quietly." he declared, pointing his hand at him.
The villain just laughed, "Come at me them, your death shall be the same as the one before you."
The same time, Jiro watched Max run at the villain, her heart beating with fear each time he dodged. But as he watched him sent flying, her heart stopped. Like it was no longer beating. "Max!!!" she ran towards him, not caring for her safety.
Jiro arrived and the scene made her heart drop. "Max, are you okay? Cmon stay with me." His head was bleeding seriously, bruises on his body, his clothes torn apart.
Max blinked, groaning as he sat up. "Friend Jiro, why are you still here?"
"Are you crazy Max, why would you run to the villain like that, you could've gotten killed."
"I cant just leave civilains to the villains whims while I do nothing." with gritted teeth he stood up, he glanced at her, "You should leave, its not safe here."
"To hell with that crap!" she snapped, "I'm not going anywhere."
Before he could reply, a scream of pain sounded out.
"Hahah, your screams are quite delightful to hear." He spoke, one hand gripping the heroes throat, the other snapping his hands. "Alas, you are not the one I seek." He threw the hero to the side, his body going through a building, his state unknown.
The villain turned towards them, a faint of surprise on his face. "Hoh, you live boy. Seems you might entertain me before he arrives."
Max glanced Jiro, his teeth gritted. Truly he didn't think before acting, now he's friend was in danger. To his left, the civilians where still under the debris. He had no choice, but to fight him.
Looking down, he picked up a steel rebar that was broken off. 'This shall do.' He thought to himself. pointing the makeshift sword, he declared. "Ye villain, your vile ends now."
The villain just smirked sadistically, "Well, let's see about that…Hero." He rushed towards him, his hand stretched, readying a punch.
Max dashed forward. His eyes glowing a gold as noted for any weakpoints.
As the two reached each other, the villain swung his fist down. his metal hand like a guillotine.

IRON HAMMER
.
The punch shattered the earth below, sending cracks through the pavement. Max observed this from above the villain, having jumped to dodge the attacks. 'Those strikes carry weight, taking them on isn't advised, I'll have to wear him down.' he quickly thought as gravity started pulling him down.
He swung the rebar, his gaze aiming at the shoulder. "Haaa!"
The villain winced at the pain. "Argh!"
Skidding behind him, he dashed forward again, his eyes noting the glowing gold parts at the man's elbows, knees, and shoulders—points of weaknesses.
He swung the bar at his knee. The man faltered to one knee at the pain. "Argh." His face burned with anger and pain as he swung his arm around. "I'll kill you!"
Already sensing the intent to hurt him, Max sidestepped the attack and swung the rebar upward at the man's elbow. A sickening crunch echoed as he fell down in pain.
Max glared down at the villain, his sword pointed. "Stand down ye villain."
The man simply smirked. Faster than Max could see, a punch went to his stomach sending him flying.
Max bounced on the pavement before coming to a stop. "Argh." He winced, grabbing his side. It seemed the rib was broken. 'What was that, I couldn't even react.'
The villain slowly got up, "Seems like I underestimated you boy, but that would no longer be the case." He smirked, then disappeared.
Max's eyes widened. 'Too fast.' The villain appeared by his side and a punch his way. Max quickly brought his rebar to block but was still sent flying.
Max rolled to a crouch as he observed his foe. 'How is he faster now?' he asked, but before he could, the villain rushed him again.
Max's eyes shown in golden brilliance as he pushed his quirk more. A punch was aimed to his left. Quickly dodging, he swung upward at the man. The villain stood, seemingly going slower, tanked it.
Max noticed this, he swung again much faster now at the man's shoulder. The villain retreated backwards.
'It seems his gift allows him to attain great defence and offence, but can only use one at a time. A dark glow accompanies when switched to defence, a silver hue when switched to offence.' He analysed in his head.
"Seems like you've figured out what my quirk does, no matter. Your death is already gaurenteed." The villain spoke.
Max glared. The street was still filled with people, and no heroes had still yet shown. He could not falter. "Ye villain no this." The brought he sword up, "Ye shall fall." He dashed forward
