The forest answered Elyndra's call.
Ancient roots erupted from beneath the earth, twisting around trees and forming enormous natural walls. Branches bent downward, intertwining into defensive structures while emerald mana surged through the soil.
The battlefield transformed in seconds. What had moments ago been a peaceful forest became a fortress.
Elyndra stood at its center.
All four of her enormous wings were spread wide, their translucent surfaces glowing with emerald, gold, and sapphire light. Her liquid-moonlight hair flowed behind her, illuminated by the immense amount of mana gathering around her.
Her deep green eyes remained calm, but the power radiating from her was anything but.
"Hold the western side!"
Aelthira's voice rang across the battlefield, "Don't let them break through!"
The Royal Guard responded immediately. Faerie warriors launched themselves into the air.
